  1. That is what I was thinking. The cruise is paid in full & my guest purchased her travel insurance separately, so any refund she might receive would come from the insurance company, not Holland America. I don’t know why they would then charge me a single supplement on top of the full fare we have already paid.
  2. if my guest has an unexpected medical emergency a few days prior to embarkation but I still plan on cruising, do I need to contact Holland America or can I just inform them when I board? The guest does have insurance, but not through HA. TIA
  3. Oops! Sorry, we are outside final payment. Looks like we wouldn’t be able to cancel onboard so I am just going to keep our current booking since we received the Early Bird perks & I would rather not take the chance of losing them.
  4. Yes, we are inside final payment. Just booked 2 days ago for cruise in September 2025.
  5. I took advantage of the $1 deposit offer a few days ago & booked a cruise for next September. I am currently booked on a cruise for September of this year & wondering if I will be able to cancel my future booking when I am onboard & rebook it to take advantage of the onboard booking offer?
  6. Yes, the king junior suite will be in the tower. Ask for a room with a river view. We stayed there a year ago & it was wonderful! Enjoy!!
  7. My 3 sisters and I are flying to Quebec City a few days in advance of our cruise & staying at the Hotel Clarendon. This will be our first visit to Quebec City & wonder what our transportation options are from the airport to our hotel? We are 4 women with our bags so I’m not sure a traditional taxi or Uber would be large enough. Looking for suggestions. TIA
  8. I have booked a cruise leaving from Quebec City in August 2024 & want to check Flight Ease for a one-way flight, but every time I check I get the following message. Has anyone else encountered this issue?
  9. I would think that might be a problem because you would have to go through Customs when you disembark & they probably wouldn’t be set up yet.
  10. Looking for reviews on using Seattle Express from Pier 91 to SEATAC. Do they normally leave shortly after you board or do they wait until they are full? We have a noon flight & plan to walk off as early as we can. TIA
  11. I always get contact lens cases from Dollar store - 5 for $1.25. I use them for my makeup, moisturizer (day & night), sunscreen, etc. they take up very little room & cheap enough to throw away.
  12. Instead of purchasing luggage tag holders, I always just laminate mine, punch a hole in the top, then bring small zip ties to attach them to my bags. There is no way the tags will accidentally come off.
  13. If our cruise is paid in full & we wish to cancel our Princess transfer from the port to the airport, can we do this once we are onboard or do I have to go through our travel agent?
  14. I am in the process of transferring our booking to our TA for a cruise I booked for my sister & I. Since we do not live in the same household (or state for that matter) Holland America requires a note from me declaring that I am the financially responsible individual for the booking. I assume this just means that I will be responsible for paying for the cruise even though my sister will be paying me for her portion. I assume she will be able to set up her own onboard account.
  15. I printed mine, then laminated & punched hole at top. Will attach with zip ties. If you don’t have a laminator you can use packing tape on both sides to keep them from tearing. This method also protects them from getting wet. Works like a charm!
