We have used the same local TA for 18 years. She's never steered us wrong, and takes care of us when need be.

They start out cute, but by the end of the cruise, many become royal pains, and some parents think the concierges are there to entertain and cater to them! Sorry, but you wouldn't take your Children to a cocktail party at home, and basically that is what you're doing on the ship.

We usually book a balcony, and since we cannot combine our C & A balcony discount with the shareholders OBC, we recently sold our shares.

Whatever you carry on has to fit thru the X-ray machine.

There are repeats, although I don't think you'll see the exact same 2 menus.

You have to pick a cabin that accommodates 4.

Sorry to hijack your post but does anyone have any suggestions on the easiest way to bring wine in your airline checked bag ?..We will then apparently have to transfer it once we land into our carryon luggage to board the ship..We won't have any time or way to purchase it after we land and before we board for our Alaska cruise out of Vancouver.
We use bubble wrap. Lots of it.

We rarely buy a wine package anymore, because we make use of the diamond & concierge lounges. We'll have a couple of beers around the pool in the afternoon. We used to drink a lot more when we were younger, working, and having the time of our life on our annual winter Caribbean cruise. I'd have to receive a free drink package to truly appreciate it.

We always try to book a balcony. Love the peace and quiet watching the sea.

Thanks for your help. We like using the certificates for the reduced deposit.
Since we have 2 certificates, I should be good to book 2 more cruises and not just 1 like I thought.?!
Thanks again.

We still each have one certificate here at home, for a total of two between both of us. I put them in a safe spot, because they represent an outlay of $200. We bought this many because we like to do b2b's.

We each bought 3 . My name is on 3 and my husbands name is on 3. We spent $600 between the 2 of us. For our upcoming b2b, we used 4 certificates between the 2 of us, and put zero cash with them.

One OBC per cabin, has this been the policy for long?
My husband and I bought 3 each on our cruise last spring for a total of $600.
We just used 2 each for our next B2B. Are you saying that we should have only bought 3 for $300 between the 2 of us?
We put zero dollars down for our next B2B, as we each redeemed 2 certificates.

Up until that cruise, we didn't even know that the pools had heaters. Just wish more ships would use them.

We were told it's up to the Captain. A few years ago, on the Radiance from Vancouver to Hawaii, the pool was heated every day while we were at sea. It was so nice, as starting out, the air was on the cool side.

Sorry, the jones act and the PSA must be used together. I worked in this industry for 32 years.

Definitely a smaller celebrity ship.

The Jones Act comes into play because it refers to the crew.

Thanks for the replies. Seems as if the side facing JS do not have a walk in closet. Hopefully someone who has had an corner aft will reply.
From the pics I've seen, the JS on Vision don't seem to be much more spacious than a balcony cabin. Those of you who have had them, do you feel they were worth the extra cost?
We booked the JS over the Balcony, because the cost was negligible. Enjoyed the bigger bathroom and extra space.

RCI has been offering free drink packages on selected cruises as an incentive. Your TA should know more about this.

Have had a js on the side of vision and it did not have a walk-in closet. Radiance jS's on the side do.
