Look on Facebook for a group called Cozumel4You. It has a lot of locals that should be able to help you.
Great info. Thank you!

You can visit CASA MISSION check reviews in TA and after of before dinning you can visit the tequila tasting they have in their property.
Wow! Food looks amazing!! That one is on the list for sure. Thanks!

Mini fridges are glorified coolers.. even using the tip from above I could never get it cold enough. We use a small cooler-- one that holds about 9 cans and put a few cans of soda - steward keeps it full of ice for us.
Ditto. Our last steward brought us one of the big buckets that they use for beer on the Lido and kept that full of ice as well. Even wrapped it in towels to prevent water and keep it colder.

Uh Oh! Here I go again........:D

We will be on the Breeze during one of the Live Concert dates and are wondering what there might be to do in Cozumel in the evening. The ship will be in port until 1AM due to the concert.
Not nightclub types but somewhere nice and safe to grab dinner and maybe some music.

Best beach excursion ever!
We tipped about $20 each.
Going back in a couple of weeks an cannot wait!

I have done this and booked it again for next cruise. I saw the kids price and think it is probably a typo.
There are two sections - one adults and one families. When we went last time we did the family one but there were zero kids.
Great excursion! True paradise. The staff pampers you like crazy!

IYHO ;)
I like sitting alone at dinner - allows for quiet reflection on what I did today, what I'll do tomorrow, AND I get to eat at my own pace. IMHO
When you booked, did you check the traditional fixed times or Carnival's version of "eat when you want"? See if you can call your Carninval contact and get your dining set up how you now want it. If it can' happen, you should see the Maitre 'D to see if you can get set up.
For everything else, it's your chance to branch out and do things that maybe you want to do, but couldn't get other to go along with. Want to go get a tattoo??? Now's the time :D
Totally agree. Some people are just not comfortable with their own company. ;) I find it a true luxury to just sit, relax and focus on me for a change.

We were thinking the same thing. Maybe grabbing dinner in Cozumel. I read somewhere that the normal entertainment will still be available on board so it may be a good time to hit the comedy club and avoid the crowds. Either way, just happy to be cruising!

I sail in two weeks and would be happy to pick them up for you. You can email me at A22823MICH2@AOL.COM

Bumping this up to see if anyone has any new info on OP's question.

We booked Rocky Shores for upcoming cruise. It was listed as adults only.
We did the select retreat before - no kids were there but there were very few children on the ship anyway.
This is a great excursion. Very relaxing and beautiful spot. Food was amazing, service top notch.

I just discovered coconut oil. I have a raging spot on my knee that nothing would help. Even the $300 steroid cream! I have used it for 3 days and the improvement is amazing. I smell like an Almond Joy, but it beats the pain and itch!
Can't speak for sunscreen but I would highly recommend for after sun.

I found some great, light weight cubes at TJ Maxx for about $10. Decided to try them at that price. I really liked the way everything stayed organized and the cubes are see through so no TSA hassle. It is amazing how much fits in one cube. Just check your bag weight. They are more for organization than fitting more than you need.

Carnival has a hang tag that says"cruisin" on one side (When you are not in the room, the steward will know it's ok to go in) and "snoozing" on the other side (steward won't enter). That being said, there is also a turn lock that you should engage when you are in the room. There is also a turn lock in the bathroom that you can use, just in case the door tag falls off or some jokester turns it over.

Also,
Any places you would recommend for lunch? Not the chain places as I can get them here in Chicago. I want to try something that I is known mainly in that area.:D
Blue Heaven for lunch - amazing!

Where do you find this? I wonder if Carnival has something similar.
You can also buy Carnival Gift cards to apply to your account. If you don't use it all, you do get it back in the form of a balance on the gift card.
On the Carnival site, scroll to the bottom and just click Gift Card for more info

Phil a just raised their cig tax. 1 pack is now close to 10.00. I get paid 2 times a month. I would need to work Monday and Tuesday each pay to buy smokes.
Its been a rough two weeks
OMG! Hang in there! Are you going cold turkey?

Thanks for posting this! Didn't think that the Breeze would have such a big area. Now I will only have to stagger down 2 decks in the morning :D
And Serene, congrats on your two weeks. I hope to follow in your footsteps soon!

Liberty has that something special. The crew is the best I've seen. Just a really good vibe on this ship.

On a Carnival Liberty cruise, we were first seated at a two person table that was between two rows of booths, in the middle of the main aisle to the back of the dining room. It was like sitting on the median of a freeway. We decided to give it a second night, but it was no better and we went to the maître d and asked to be moved. He said we would have to share and we said that we were OK with this, if the people at the table were.
We were taken to a booth on the same level we had been on, but on the other side of the dining room, where one man was seated in a booth. He had a twelve year old daughter who had made a friend and was sitting at their table on the first level. We could see the table from our booth by the railing overlooking the first level. If she was not eating, he would go downstairs and get her to eat.
Anyway, he welcomed us and in the course of the conversation, he said he had played football for the Detroit Lions. He told us when he played and it was at least 10 years back, and my husband and I asked some questions and he talked about it. He was built like a football player. He also said he was now on the Board of a charity to teach children to dial 911.
We had enjoyable dinners all week. When we got home, I looked for his name on team lists for the Detroit Lions for that time period and never found it. I did find him on the Board for that charity. I may have just missed seeing it, but I don't think so.
I will always wonder if he just had some fun inventing a past he did not get to live, or if it was true. I think I believed it on the ship.
It wasn't Tim Brown was it?

I always put a note on the information sheet they make your fill out - "not interested in purchasing products" Works most of the time.
If they leave me alone about the products, they get an extra tip and a thank you for respecting my request.

What denomination was the Wheel of Fortune machine and how much did you win? Nice to hit a jackpot. I am glad to hear that they have some different slots, as I am tired of all the old ones. This will be my first time on the Sunshine. I hope I like it, as I have another cruise booked on her in December. Did you have the drinks on us card? Just wondering if they came around often for drink orders. Thanks for the info.
It was a $1.00 machine with $1600 payout. A woman hit a penny machine for $5400. Pretty sure she was betting $3 per spin.
I did have the drink card - it was a Premier cruise. The casino was packed and sometimes hard to get a drink but nothing major.
You will love the Sunshine. Say Hi to Carlos, Lil & Christopher when you get there (Casino Hosts)

I have done this several times. Very relaxing. It definitely helps muscle aches. No noticeable loss of water or toxins.
I also tried the "lose inches immediately" treatment. Save your money! Very unpleasant and didn't do a thing.
Best so far was the bamboo massage. A little intense but wow, it really gets the knots out!
Cheap container for coconut oil =)

This is great. I have been looking for something for coconut oil. Since it melts so fast I wasn't sure just what to use.
How do you whip it?
