  1. Lmao. I can’t believe people still think someone wearing flip cops in any way affects their vacation. Good lord.
  2. Different question but to avoid starting a new thread. Does anyone know I’d they can make a virgin mudslide, and then I could order a shot of baileys to dump in? Trying to be cheap….
  3. You “got Covid from the cruise”? What makes you so sure one of your 15 family members didn’t bring it on, or catch it in an airport, or on an island…etc? Bottom line is anyone traveling anywhere has to expect to get Covid, or stay home.
  4. ATM fee is like $8….so depends on amount. Cheaper to take $500 out of ATM then bill $500 to your room
  5. Plenty, and I mean plenty, of people get on the ship the first day and don’t get off it until it docks back at home.
  6. You are 100% wrong and you are the smug one. I use Wi-Fi in airplane mode all the time. How the hell do you think people use Wi-Fi on airplanes at 35,000 feet when airplane mode is required to be on? 🙄
  7. Have not been on NCL since November 2019. Going this month….Comped ocean view. Think the key was they are tied into my local casino and see the play there. When I was booking through CAS every other time it was inside room comp only.
  8. Vacaya is the closest more family-like cruise, and they care about their customers. Atlantis just wants your money and a 5000 person circuit party
  9. If you happen to gamble a moderate amount, you can generally book through the casino and get them to waive the supplement as well
  10. You are correct it’s not enforced, but it is a written rule both on signage and printed in the dailies etc. but definitely not enforced
  11. It really is pretty ridiculous at this point. Pre Covid , everyone could still make the argument that they may lose gambling revenue if they went nonsmoking. Post Covid, every land casino I know of north of New York City (maybe PA seems to be an exception), and probably several hundred miles further out, are completely nonsmoking now. And the revenue has certainly not dropped…they are busier than ever. Add the fact that more than half of the people polluting the casino don’t actually ever gamble and just use it as their personal smoking section because it’s closer than going upstairs to a smoking area…….it’s time for it to go, permanently.
