  1. I love Oasis class. I have also been on 3 of them and have the other 2 booked. I have been on other lines and would like to try HAL but Cunard and Virgin are definitely lines I will never be on. Not every line is for every cruiser. :)
  2. Dailies were only in the app (to the best of my knowledge --- I didn't go looking for printed versions) and I did not save them.
  3. I thought the singers in Voices were phenomenal (same main singers are in Effectors 2) but I wasn't a huge fan of that show. Tap Factory was very good too (especially the gymnast) but was a once and done thing for us. I seen Intense 3 times and would see 365 and Effectors again. :) We had unlimited dining package and I have to be gluten free so my experience is different than others. I actually posted all of my meals on Zuckerberg's platform in a dining group started by Matt Hochberg.
  4. Yes, we loved it and we don't watch power rangers or ninja turtles. :)
  5. Luggage tag and some rope thingy with guides on ship knots
  6. Sounds like Wonder of the Seas is the wrong cruise ship for you. 😉
  7. I wouldn't want to go to a longer ice show. I've seen 1977, iSkate 2.0, Ice Games, and maybe some others and 365 was the best one I ever saw. You know what they say about loud? If it is too loud then you are too old. LOLOLOL There were just under 1000 passengers under 12 years old. I didn't have any issues with them. Let's hear some of your top 10 so I can check them out. 🙂
  8. Just got back from Wonder of the Seas 1/15/2023 -1/22/2023 and all I can say is WOW, WOW, WOW!!! Best Overall Entertainment of any ship I have ever been on. 365 Seasons on Ice = Best Ice Show I have ever seen. Intense Maximum Performance Aqua Show = Awesome! Hiro is still slightly better because of the music but Intense is properly named. How do those girls do it? Effectors 2 = HOLY Superheroes and Villians = I was NOT expecting that. WOW!!! Food was good. Crew was phenomenal. Ship was beautiful. Crowding was not an issue with 6700 onboard. Loved this cruise. Only small thing I would change is main casino smoking situation but there is a smoke free casino annex. 🙂
  9. Just got back from the cruise on Wonder of the Seas and thought I would give a little feedback on my experience with the all access tour. 1. Stated it was a 2 hour our but we went almost 3 hours 2. Seen Galley, Storerooms, Engine Control Room, Guest Laundry, Sheet folding area, Crew Uniform Shop, Bridge, and I-95 (of course) - maybe some other stuff that is not coming to mind right now 3. Captain's Q&A was during the tour so we missed it - also didn't get to see the captain on the bridge - this was a bummer 4. We had to be quiet in the ECR and didn't get any info from the engineers 5. Went to Aqua Theater at the end and got to talk to the head guy of the show and ask questions but no backstage 6. Pictures were allowed but not video 7. Employee guiding the tour was from the shore excursions team Overall it felt rushed and less detailed than other tours I had been on but it was still excellent. I would do it again.
  10. Apparently I cannot read chart or convert metric to English correctly LOL
  11. I am curious too. Carnival Dream uses 6 × Wärtsilä 12V46 Oasis uses 3 × Wärtsilä 12V46D and 3 × Wärtsilä 16V46D You can go check the dimensions of each here: https://cdn.wartsila.com/docs/default-source/product-files/engines/df-engine/product-guide-o-e-w46df.pdf?sfvrsn=9 So how much bigger of an engine room does Oasis need for 3 of its engines being around 7" wider and taller? All modern cruise ships are propelled by electric motors. The diesel engines/generators generate the power to run those motors.
  12. If you have to ask whether it is "worth it" or not then then answer is No for you 🙂 Been on multiple Carnival "Behind the Fun" tours and they do NOT let you in the engine room. ;)
  13. I just paid $179 but now it is $159 but sold out. Thanks for making me feel bad. LOLOLOL
  14. You can where what you want. 😉 /unsubscribe LOL
  15. I have celiac disease and have been on Celebrity Edge. They do a great job and you can even eat a lot of things in the buffet. You can let them know ahead of time via the special needs form or just by talking to the maitre'd on boarding day.
  16. No shorts except 1st and last night of the cruise. They will enforce that policy and not let you in based on my personal experience and what I have read/heard from others.
  17. Back from Bermuda where we had a tour with Julie Richardson from Winsome https://www.winsometransport.com/ She was awesome and I highly recommend Winsome. Did the 6.5 hour tour and felt like I seen the whole place and learned a lot along the way.
  18. So back to temperatures in Bermuda: https://www.seatemperatu.re/caribbean/bermuda/when.html According to the resource above it looks like Jan-April are the coldest swimming months. We're heading to Bermuda late November so we're going to find out for ourselves. 🙂
  19. How many movies they made about Robin Hood? How many movies they made about the rich people he stole from? LOL I'm not defending it. I'm not denying it is wrong. I'm just pointing out that it is a reality. If you think you can post pictures on a web site and say no one else can use these then you are pretty naive.
  20. People steal digital content daily. Doesn't make it right. Doesn't make it defensible. However, one needs to understand that reality when putting content online. He could of put it behind a paywall. (although it gets stolen from there too) Matt is staying in $20K a week Aqua Theater suites ... sounds like he is doing just fine. 😉
  21. "Hey everyone don't share pictures that were shared on the internet on a public website"
  22. I know this is a bit old but I just ran across it yesterday: https://travelweekly.co.uk/news/cruise/royal-caribbeans-icon-of-the-seas-to-be-bigger-than-oasis-class So is Icon going to be bigger than Oasis class or not? :
