I'm hearing rumours that ships cannot go up the river because of drought conditions. Is this true?

R & R wasn't hard rock on my last NS cruise. It was a great mix of classic rock and some new-ish stuff. To me, hard rock is Guns n Roses, Deff Leppard. YMMV.

Making me nervous about my H GTY on the Zaandam! Any suggestions? I checked out CO, but it doesn't seem to make any sense to get it on the Zaandam, plus the rep wouldn't allow me to pay in USD, making it something like $38.00/day in CND. I have a US credit card with a credit balance and wanted to apply the CO payment to that card, but she said it wasn't possible.

Not for this meatatarian! It's mainly about the meat! I leave most of the sides. I might pick at the baked potato, and of course will eat the mushrooms with my steak, but you can have the rest of the sides! 🙂

Just last month I ordered the rib eye from the Pinnacle in the Main Dining Room and it was delicious! The meal took a bit longer to arrive but it was good and hot. We did eat in the Pinnacle once and I was not impressed by the service. (Over 20 minutes for a glass of wine). Our waiters and our table in the MDR were awesome.

Is there any way to discover what portion (if any!) of my OBC is refundable vs non-refundable? I only see one line item which says OBC and the amount on my statement. TIA

I may be the only nay-sayer here! I will not ever take an aft cabin again. The motion was very noticeable - not only side to side but up and down as well - and I would say fairly calm seas. I spent a lot of time outside of the cabin. Let us know how you enjoyed it!
