  1. Unfortunately, on our last few cruises on this route, we were in Johnstone Strait late in the evening or early in the morning after departing or returning to Vancouver.
  2. @Ken the cruiser If possible, can you let us know if you can find out who the naturalist "might" be for the 14 night 5-8-24 trip. TIA.
  3. Were there any noise problems with the bar/pool area above your cabin? TIA!
  4. It's not the "platter". It's the "Patter".
  5. The Drake Passage is feared by travelers and sailors alike. From CNN: https://www.cnn.com/travel/article/drake-passage-rough-sea-scn/index.html
  6. From cruisedeckplans.com, here is D720 on the Island (same deck plan as the Coral in this area).
  7. There is a rumor on another social media site that you are running low on beer. First World Problems.
  8. From another social media site: You can ask your cabin steward for an extension cord and distilled water when you board, but it’s better if you pre-order them. That way you’re sure they will be there waiting for you in your cabin when you board. Either way, it’s free of charge. To pre-order an extension cord and distilled water for a CPAP machine, go to the Princess website then click on “Booked Guests” at the top of the page. Log into your account using either your login credentials or your booking number. Once you’re logged in, click on “Access Cruise Personalizer”. Select “Check-In”, then scroll down to the “Guest Check-in Status” section. Click on “Dietary Requests”, and tick the box next to “Distilled water (for CPAP machine use ONLY)”. Then click on the “Send Dietary Restriction” button. Your distilled water and an approved extension cord will be waiting for you in your cabin when you board. If it’s not there, check with your room steward. I ALWAYS pack a long (12 ft.) non-surge protected extension cord with my CPAP machine in case they don’t have one available.
  9. It was mentioned on another social media network that CD Natalie Costa is joining the Ruby soon, if not already there.

  11. It appears that Vickie and Bernie, of http://vickieandbernietravel.blogspot.com are on this cruise too!
  12. No, they don't, but they keep trying!
  13. I have not "joined and payed" cruisedeckplans.com, and I can see photos and videos of cabins.
  14. There are mixed reviews on the avocado toast aboard the ships. Usually available either at Slice or the I.C.
  15. Please don't blame Princess for your embarkation experience. Cruise port employees are in control until you step off the gangway, and onto the ship. Same thing applies in reverse when you return.
  16. You can't blame Princess for that issue. From the moment you step off the ship gangway, Princess employees are not in control. It is in the hands of the cruise port employees.
  17. OPPSIE! Just like a middle school kid. I didn't look at the second (back) page.
  18. The Official Beer of All Canadian Hosers! Take off-eh... The Great White North.
