I’ve encountered that situation before and there was a choice to “book anyway”…that way you can readjust your dining time later.

Pool looks empty with netting overtop? -
We had Eddy Jenkins on our Eclipse to Alaska cruise in September, totally agree he’s one of the best! We had the basic wifi on that cruise and it was totally useless, could barely get our email and certainly couldn’t browse the web or even see anything on CC. We assumed that’s just the way it was to encourage passengers to upgrade. However, on Silhouette in Feb we had the basic again and it was great. So much better and were able to do everything we needed to, not trying to stream anything tho so that might’ve been an issue. Hope that the upgraded package works well for you and that it’s not a location or ship specific thing.

Check that the amount you want taken out of your obc includes the additional gratuities/service charge. Could be why they want the cc so the total amount due is covered. You should see on the right hand side of the page the amount of the dinner plus the grats…that’s the amount you need to enter in the box beside the available obc. Bit confusing but if that’s not the reason then 🤷♀️

Another live review! Can’t wait to follow along, glad the “lives” are all on different itineraries, we’ll be traveling to so many places in the next few weeks 😂 -
We’ve booked Silhouette next May for a Baltics and we depart from Amsterdam but return to Rotterdam. Will be nice to gain an extra port lol. Fortunately the train and transit system in the Netherlands is good so it’s an easy ride to Schipol. There’s a British Isles cruise prior to ours…I’m tempted to add it to ours as we’ve never been so I’ll be paying close attention to your experiences. Cathy

Wow, can you tell how popular you are? I check the boards and you’ve got five pages of posts in just a few hours from your original post lol. You def do an amazing job when you post and the info is so helpful to so many. I’m looking forward to following along on your adventure too! Don’t forget your passports! 😉

We have family in NZ and while the flights aren’t too bad the huge time difference really gets to me, so I’m very interested in this cruise and the incremental time changes that hopefully help the body to adjust more easily? Your itinerary also looks really good…do you do any snorkeling on your excursions or are they more land based? Hope you have a great time and thanks for doing this report.

I just upgraded myself on the Millennium

On our Alaska cruise in September our ship, Eclipse, got as close to Hubbard as the expensive tour boats…may not happen every time but could be a much better use of your dollars to upgrade your cabin! The Captain spun the ship around slowly so everyone got a great view. Your veranda will keep winds to a minimum so you’ll be able to enjoy the view in private comfort! Nicely done, enjoy! -

Just curious, did you notice if there was a separate Nexus line in the Brooklyn terminal? -

I’m also looking forward to following along. Wishing you and your family a wonderful cruise holiday and a Happy Easter! 🐣 -
Omg, I really hope that gymnast is ok, I remember that show from our same sailing in Feb…agree that they were all very good at their performances. We met a couple of them during the backstage tour…one couple is married and the other are best friends. They keep the gymnasts/aerialists pairs together from contract to contract but the dancers and singers get mixed up between contracts. We really enjoyed all the entertainment, including David, the cruise director, very funny. Thank you for all the live posting, lucky you to get another four days…wonder how the vibe onboard may change 🤔🚢🥂

Loving this review and all your wonderful pictures. Agree about the storm yesterday, just didn’t seem to want to go away lol, my husband kept saying he thought the skies were clearing and within minutes we could hear the thunder rumbling and another system moved overhead. Fortunately our hydro only flickered a couple times but never stayed out…we were lucky! Looks much nicer for the weekend 🌞 Happy Easter! 🐣 PS love that lightning photo, very cool!

I wonder if contacting the special needs department prior to sailing would help in your husband’s situation? Might be an option on a future sailing? 🤔
