  1. I don’t understand why they’re still using these when they eliminated plastic water bottles and straws…how are these any less of an environmental impact? Are they recyclable somehow? We went thru so many on our 11 night Eclipse sailing in September and I was hoping they’d have the refillable large dispensers I’ve seen on pics from posters on other Celebrity ships.
  2. Glad you’re enjoying the cruise. Have you been getting off in any of the ports and if so, what tours/excursions have you done and would you recommend? Thanks!
  3. @S.A.M.J.R.How was your tour with BIg Beards? We’re also interested in the snorkeling you did on this tour. We’ll be in St. Croix in Feb and this looks perfect for us.
  4. @cruisestitchhow is the cruise going? What have the ports been like? Curious to know if you went off the ship in the DR. We are doing the exact itinerary in Feb so I’m curious about everything ship, dining, port and entertainment related! Thank you and enjoy!
  5. Just booked a cruise for Feb, same price as yesterday but now we have $400obc, so I’m happy. I’m sure if I’d booked it when the sailing was initially released I would’ve saved more but I didn’t know what my situation would be now or if I’d even want to sail so I guess that’s the price I pay for waiting. Oh well, still cheaper than most of the All inclusives I’ve been looking at, at least with X I know what I’m getting! 🙌 🚢
  6. I’m looking forward to following along as well, looking at the same itinerary in Feb. What kind of cabin are you sailing in? Also interested to hear what you did in DR today. Have fun! We love the Silhouette…extra dining options without the extra passenger load of Reflection.
  7. Great live review, thanks so much for all the detail and the beautiful pictures. Very much enjoyed following along.
  8. Here I was wondering what I was going to read with my morning coffee now that the TAs are mostly returned, still following @mahdnc, and here you are!! Have very much enjoyed your previous travelogues and so much looking forward to following you on this one as well! My Sept Eclipse to Alaska seems so long ago now 😢 Have fun and wishing you smooth seas and good luck with the IV! Cathy
  9. Thank you, once again, for this great information. I’ve learned a lot of new and interesting info from you today!
  10. On the Eclipse in Sept the lemon tarts didn’t have that topping…looks like a meringue maybe? They are def delicious even without a topping and I ate more than my share thanks to your recommendation @Jim_Iain😋
  11. Ah! Thought there must be a secret of some sort! Not available north of the border unfortunately but will have to get our friends that go south frequently to check them out. Def a great idea and yes, you could start a side business onboard with those! 👏
  12. We haven’t sailed on an E class yet however I find the Magic Carpet interesting and will def check it out when we sail on the Edge in ‘24, one comment I’ve read frequently is that the area is so windy and not comfortable for sitting and enjoying a drink or meal due to the winds…you mention playing cards which sounds like would be impossible with windy conditions…depends on the itinerary? Whether docked or at sail? Thanks for any insight you can provide.
  13. Very glad you are onboard and are happy with your cabin. Def not for me, need a proper balcony, but many do like these infinite verandas. We have a sunset veranda booked on Edge in ‘24 and I’m looking forward to the 4 dining rooms so hope you cover them during your voyage as well as any other dining venues that are available to the non-suite passengers. Curious as to the visible obstruction in your picture…what is that? Thanks and enjoy every minute of your holiday!
  14. Hi Kelly @PinkSandGirljust binged all six pages to get caught up 😅 Hope you and your family have a wonderful cruise, looking forward to following along! Cathy
  15. ok, now I understand, thought you were traveling with your husband as well as your mother. This sounds like a good solution and Celebrity is usually pretty good about moving your things to the new cabin at turnaround. Sounds like a great trip with your Mom (or do you say Mum?), looking forward to following along if you have time to post!
  16. Glad you’ve sorted the trip with your Mom but did you book an Aqua class and a concierge class? Will whoever is staying in the AQ cabin not eat in Blu? Because pretty sure Concierge class have to eat in MDR. 🤔.
  17. Silly question but I know, David, you and your wife like to dive…is there any opportunity on this itinerary? What excursions do you have planned otherwise?
  18. Looking forward to following along! Are you and your wife flying separately? Will be a very different experience without your adult children along…bit of a second honeymoon! 😉 Enjoy!!
  19. Can you not just make a new booking at the sale price and then go in and cancel your original booking? 🤔
  20. I am also looking forward to following along. What are you ports? Any excursions planned? DH and I love the Silhouette…great choices for speciality dining without all the extra cabins of Reflection. Have fun and smooth flights and sailing! 🛳
  21. We actually did that years ago on the Summit in San Juan. Waited in Sky Lounge for the zero update and then were free to roam the ship. I originally thought your post was going to speak to the testing for B2Bs. 🤷‍♀️
  22. Fee is $120US to make a standard item and then you pay extra depending on what item you wish to make if you don’t want to make the standard item. If you have obc you can use it for this and then it doesn’t really cost anything! 🤷‍♀️
