Well I can see no discount in my Cruise Planner.

Maybe its because we are in Australia, or maybe because the cruise is next month - either way we miss out.

Unless I am looking in the wrong place I can't see any discount.:confused:

Have been to at least six Celebrity Meet and Mingle, and have normally received some pastries and a Morning Tea - often with the Cruise director and a few Officers (possibly the Captain) - nothing more, altho once there were some Cruise Critic giveaways .... (thanks Host Andy)

Today I was reading some members are saying they also get some free internet time for registering for the meet and mingle.

Am i missing out or doing something wrong as Ive been seemingly oblivious to this happening ??

DH and I are Elite with Celebrity, so are Diamond with Royal and are looking forward to our second cruise on Royal this year.

We live in Australia, and have parents in Mexico so was hoping it would be possible to take our parents to the evening drinks in the Diamond Lounge (one guest each) ?

Just wondering if it is allowed or anyone has been able to do this.

Truly is a year too late because after your crossing the ship is staying in the Caribbean year around - was a great itinerary - just wish we were ready to go this year rather than next ....

Planning four a four night Bahamas cruise, which returns to Miami with the final port being Key West which raises two questions for me.

Will we do any Customs clearance in Key West (first US port on return) ?

We arrive back at 0700, will a 1pm flight be doable ?

Appreciate any advice, particularly from anyone who may have done the same Royal Four Day Bahamas cruise on the Enchantment ?

Personally am disappointed - we are loyal to Celebrity, and enjoy Transatlantics and cruising Europe - have now lost another X option - still could have been worse if we had lost money ..... looks like our dollars will be redirected elsewhere !

I dare say less Celebrity capacity in Europe and on Transatlantic will only inflate prices ......

Will be on the Constellation arriving into Singapore at 2pm and then a final night on the ship.

So we disembark the next morning and I'm looking at a flight out at 1000.

Normally I would not book a flight so early, but given we arrive into port 18 hours earlier I was hoping it would be doable.

Appreciate thoughts from a local, or someone who has had the same experience,

As Elite Members we have asked to be on the Celebrity Mailing list to receive email offers,don't know if it's because we are in Australia, but I usually only get them erratically perhaps one email a month from Celebrity.

I never get emails re the Tuesday specials - do other people ?

When I enter my Captains Club number, I never get a price reduction or any extras.

Lastly do Celebrity have an alerting system that emails re last minute deals ?

I saw this mentioned on another general thread.

Have previously spent a quite a bit of time in Hong Kong previously so am looking for something different.

Will be in port 0700-1700 and was wondering if it's feasible to head to Shenzen and visit Windows on the world.

I realise will need to do Chinese Immigration twice so don't know if it's with the hassle.

Has anyone done this from the cruise port ? And if so would you recommend it by public transport as against a private tour ?

Luckily will have two visits to Santorini in May.

As the first visit is only for the afternoon am thinking of taking the boat to Oia.

(And then returning direct to the ship, without the usual bus to Fira option)

Is it possible to get a boat transfer back to the old port in May from Oia around 8pm ?

Will be in Mykonos in May, and was hoping to visit the Jackie O beach Club in Super Paradise.

Obviously it's early Summer, so don even know if it will be open?

Have emailed them with two different answers, I understand the bar downtown will be open, don't know about the beach club.

Sailaway is at 4pm, I don't want to make the trek off there if it's not open and theirs no action (I mean people, or club open) and no transport back !

Any other recommendations would be appreciated - have done Mykonos before so was hoping for a day club - a nice lunch and maybe a drag show ..??

Am arriving in BCN and heading straight the cruise for me Med cruise (Spain, Greece, Malta, Italy, Croatia) and I want to pick up a SIM card at the airport - preferably with unlimited data for the above countries.

Any suggested brands of SIM card would be appreciated and also the location of a place to buy the card in BCN would be most appreciated !

We usually sail Celebrity, but have booked 3 B2B cruises in Europe in the Jade in May - last minute guarantee - just nabbed a Mini Suite for the first leg, as against our Balcony guarantee - have heard mixed reviews did we make the right choice ??

My cruise finishes in Venice next month, and we don't fly out til 6-30pm.

Ideally I would like to be able to store my suitcases somewhere Central in Venice for the day before heading to the airport, preferably close to transportation, as I really don't want to be lugging my luggage around my final hours in Europpe.

Last time in Valletta we had no time to visit the Blue Grotto, so we don't want to miss it this time.

We have already done the HOHO Bus so was thinking of either hiring a car, or trying the local bus ?

Has anyone done the Blue Grotto by local transportation (and I don't mean taxi !!) Any hints most welcome !!

Have previously enjoyed Malta, and taken a good look around on the HOHO last trip, but had no time to see the Blue Grotto.

Rather than book the HOHO again is it possible to get the Blue Grotto via public transport, rather than hire a taxi or take the HOHO bus again.

Will be in Palma in May from 0800-1700 and am very interested in this do it yourself tour, which takes in the train tram and boat.

Is it possible in my time frame or is it wiser and cheaper to book it myself ?

I gather the express bus is q quicker option that the return tram/train trip.
