  1. Well on some ships that is when the MDRs open and when early fixed time dining is, even though that is not what the booking engine shows. Things that were routine for years like early fixed dining at 6 isn’t always the case, just like shows were normally at 7 & 9 but now some cruise they are 7:30 and 9:30. And when booking specialty restaurants for our recent Beyond cruise 5:30 was an available time to book.
  2. Yes. We had to tell the attendant to stop brining it as we had 13 bottles sitting on the table
  3. No Sr officers when we boarded. We did not go to the main shows in the theater. But we were frequently on the Retreat Sundeck. In Retreat Lounge, at the Martini bar/Grand Plaza. Craft Social, Cafe Al Bacio, Eden bar. Blu, MDRs, elevators. Rooftop Grill & Garden; all places where we normally see the Officers. Just not the norm. Maybe a 6 day cruise is different, only time we have done that short a cruise.
  4. If your Celebrity crew member anything less than a 10 on the survey is not acceptable.
  5. We are discussing the E class ships. The S and M class ships have always had both Traditional and Anytime dining. E class ships started that way but for the past 18 months or so did not have traditional dining, even if you had selected that when booking. They are now honoring the booked traditional dining reservations.
  6. Longer cruises better chance of getting a discount on board. Our experience has been when less than 10 nights fewer discounts.
  7. Luminae was open from noon until 2 when we boarded.
  8. The menus in the link were from May 2023. While some dishes are still on the menus I know that the menus have changed and some items are no longer offered. if you have the app you can look up your ship, then select the current sailing and go to dining. You can see the menus that are currently being offered in each venue.
  9. The Officers I was referring to did not include the CD. We have done a multitude of cruises and on most of Celebrity’s ships and it is the norm to see the Captain, Staff Captain, Chief Engineer, Hotel Director, Safety Officer, F & B Manager and Guest Relations Director walking around the ship both during the day and evening, engaging with guests. That wasn’t the case on this cruise.
  10. And there are some of us who like them but avoid commenting in response to the naysayers who take every chance to point out their dislike. Just off the Beyond in the Caribbean there were lots of ships/ cruise lines to choose among. The ship was full so a couple thousand people booked IVs.
  11. Just FYI there is no Room Service charge for Continental breakfast.
  12. Point 4, 5 and 6 are the same in all cabins ( possibly excluding high end suites) not limited to IVs.
  13. I believe it says 6:00 and 8:30 on the booking site, but on our recent cruises the the early seating has been at 5:30, those who selected 6 were assigned 5:30. That timing seems to change by ship or itinerary. Just like shows which on some ships/itineraries are 7 and 9 others are 7:30 and 9:30.
  14. We have not had a middle name or initial on our Celebrity bookings or our Celebrity account Our passports have a middle name/ initial and it hasn’t been a problem at checkin, boarding or spending $😂
  15. The E class ships seem to have reverted back to having traditional set time dining for those that have booked that option. Friends recently had it on the Apex and we met a couple on the Beyond that had the assigned 8 30 traditional dining. There have been posters on CC who have also reported they had traditional time dining with same table, same staff every night.
  16. Guests who are booked in Concierge Class get a lunch in the MDR, limited menu. Others, with the exception of Suite guests, can have lunch at Oceanview Cafe or the Mast Grill. If you cruise isn’t soon keep an eye out for a flash sale that may offer a better price on wi-fi. There is a flash sale now for some sailings. Also Black Friday can offer some good sales and wi-fi, drinks, excursions etc.
  17. We were on that same cruise and I wholeheartedly agree there were no Officers visible around the ship. We didn’t go to any shows which, from what I heard from others, was the only place they saw the Officers. It didn’t have the feel of any of our other cruises. We did have a chance to speak to the GRM, Julie and she injured her leg and was hobbling and told to stay off her feet. She was however at the gangway saying Good Bye to guests as we departed. We had excellent service in the dining rooms. We didn’t get the feeling they were overwhelmed but the bar staff in some bars just seemed like they were not particularly interested in working.
  18. Status pins are not something we would ever wear. But they seem to be popular with Pinnacle level cruisers.
  19. At the top of the app click on the arrow under the calendar that will take you to all your booking. Scroll tithe bottom where you can change sail date or search ships. Select your ship and a list of sailing dates appear, select the current sailing.
  20. Go to the Celebrity website, select your ship then scroll down to Accommodations and you can see pics or video of every cabin categor
  21. There are smoking areas outdoors. They can vary by ship but generally at least one on deck 5. one on the pool deck, and one by the Sunset bar. I’m
  22. Which package? There are 3 Zero proof Ckassic Alcohol Premium Alcohol. if you go to the Celebrity website and search “beverage packages you will find a description of each.
