Try doing a mock booking for a longer booking. Just booked a 10 N deposit was $900.

We give the Luminae MaitreD an envelope with any additional tip as the staff pool their tips. We find it much easier than trying to get a envelope to the number of staff we have wait on us during the cruise. We do the same for the Retreat Lounge Staff.

No, punching a hole in the card will deactivate it. If you want to use a lanyard then get one that the card slides into.

DH orders without the bread and gets a nice size serving.

You do not need reservations for Select dining. If you and the other couple show up together they will seat you together. Reservations don’t need to be linked.
-
Aqua has never taken reservations or had assigned dining times. On occasion we have had a card in the cabin suggesting a time for the 1st night but it isn’t necessary to go st. that times.

They have been on the menu on embark day for our sailings and also on some other days during the cruise.

If it is a 7 night sailing & day 2 and 6 are sea days it is pretty certain those will be the EC nights.

Question Regarding Onboard Wine Tasting Activities
jelayne replied to mahdnc's topic in Celebrity Cruises
We haven’t done the Captains Club wine tasting in a few years. Our experience was 60+ people, very entry level wines. We did the World Tour once. Group for that was about 25-30. It was okay, wines were better and since our sommelier ran it he took the best wines left and served them to us at dinner. -
Just checked the app for the CS menu for current sailing of the Beyond and none of your favorites were listed.

Diet tonic has been available on our past couple of cruises. My DH does not drink diet drinks and they keep making his G & T with diet tonic.

Nothing offered for a 1st day booking on our cruise last week.

Some TAs are currently offering a Labor Day sale with group rates. prepaid gratuities and/or OBC.

We didn’t order the new ones and have never worn the old ones. Most Z’s don’t flaunt their status, unlike on Royal where status seems to be advertised. The only time I have noticed a Z wearing a pin was at the Zenith lunch and that was only a few. word is that the status matched Pinnacles pushed for Zenith pins but initially they are being offer to Celebrity 3000+ Z’s.

For many Blu is the only reason to book Aqua.

Le Petit Chef does not seem as popular on E class ships as on S and M. Possibly because there are more specialty restaurants and also open nature of the restaurant. The location results in noise from the Grand Plaza and Martini bar. Fine Cut Steakhouse has the same noise issue but unlike LPC their guests are not trying to listen to the sound track for the animation.

That can vary by credit card company. One I use is 2-3 days the other is closer to 5-7 days.

DH tried to take a glass of plain OJ so he could take it to the cabin to take his pills. The Captains Club Host stopped him and then made a very loud announcement to everyone “under no circumstances is any food or beverage to be removed from the venue”. He then pointed out a tray and told my DH to place his juice there.

Hopefully Live Celebrity newbs on the Equinox

We were on the beyond last week, full of kids. Sitting at the Martini bar for hours drinking soda while Mom and Dad milked a beer and glass of wine for almost 2 hours. Retreat had a fair number of families with kids in the 5-9 year range who while cute were bored and entertaining themselves playing tag in the z lounge and Sundeck. The buffet was dangerous as small groups of mid-teen kids enjoying ruining and sliding in from the front to the back. We didn’t go near the pool deck. It was by far the most children I have ever seen on a Celebrity ship. It didn’t ruin our trip but the experience we have had in the past was more enjoyable. -
Beyond- still beyond creaking and clicking
jelayne replied to Dylan0474mac's topic in Celebrity Cruises
We have been on the Beyond 2x as recent as last week. We were on Deck 9 & 10 mid ship. We did not experience any noise on either cruise. However there were areas when we were headed to the stairs or elevators that there was noticeable noise in the hallways. Loud enough that I have to think it could heard in the cabins in the immediate area. These noises were when at sea. -
Three day cruise. Do all of the rules still apply?
jelayne replied to Mrs Nic's topic in Celebrity Cruises
The stated dress code doesn’t change based on the length of the cruise. How strictly it is enforced on a 3 night cruise could vary by venue. -
The dry dock is a regular 5 year dry dock primarily for inspection and maintenance of the major systems. They will do some cosmetic work like replacing worn sections of carpet or soft goods. No reason to be concerned, in my opinion.

Well @Texed who is very knowledgeable saiys no longer for Suites & Zenith I knew it was no longer free for Z’s as I asked.

I don’t recall if or what discounts were offered last Labor Day. We have seen 30 and 35% off with some flash sales. The flash sales are not often offered for every sailing. Generally for sailing in a specific time period or itinerary. You can purchase the package now and if a lower price appears then you can cancel your purchase and purchase again at the lower price.

Not that I’m aware of but were weren’t in one of the very top suites.
