  1. We have not had a middle name or initial on our Celebrity bookings or our Celebrity account Our passports have a middle name/ initial and it hasn’t been a problem at checkin, boarding or spending $😂
  2. The E class ships seem to have reverted back to having traditional set time dining for those that have booked that option. Friends recently had it on the Apex and we met a couple on the Beyond that had the assigned 8 30 traditional dining. There have been posters on CC who have also reported they had traditional time dining with same table, same staff every night.
  3. Guests who are booked in Concierge Class get a lunch in the MDR, limited menu. Others, with the exception of Suite guests, can have lunch at Oceanview Cafe or the Mast Grill. If you cruise isn’t soon keep an eye out for a flash sale that may offer a better price on wi-fi. There is a flash sale now for some sailings. Also Black Friday can offer some good sales and wi-fi, drinks, excursions etc.
  4. We were on that same cruise and I wholeheartedly agree there were no Officers visible around the ship. We didn’t go to any shows which, from what I heard from others, was the only place they saw the Officers. It didn’t have the feel of any of our other cruises. We did have a chance to speak to the GRM, Julie and she injured her leg and was hobbling and told to stay off her feet. She was however at the gangway saying Good Bye to guests as we departed. We had excellent service in the dining rooms. We didn’t get the feeling they were overwhelmed but the bar staff in some bars just seemed like they were not particularly interested in working.
  5. Status pins are not something we would ever wear. But they seem to be popular with Pinnacle level cruisers.
  6. At the top of the app click on the arrow under the calendar that will take you to all your booking. Scroll tithe bottom where you can change sail date or search ships. Select your ship and a list of sailing dates appear, select the current sailing.
  7. Go to the Celebrity website, select your ship then scroll down to Accommodations and you can see pics or video of every cabin categor

  12. The OP was notified a week ago, not 2 months ago. The poster who referenced 2 months for a cruise in 2020.
  13. Alexranda, when is your cruise? If you haven’t already tried, check for a Roll Call for your sailing here or on the other social media site others from you sailing may have received info direct from Celebrity.
  14. Your TA should have contact at Celebrity, not the general reservations number, to assist him. I believe our TA has what was/is called Business Development Mgr. who they reach out to when needing assistance.

  16. We are on the Beyond and the Luminae dinner menu doesn’t have any noticeable changes with the exception of the Daniel Boulud Signature dishes that changed a year or more ago. We have only gone to Luminae once in 4 nights and didn’t look at the Signature cocktail but if we go there tonight I’ll check the prices
  17. I really hope you are able to go on the cruise. As you said life can be too short, do what you can when you can. I’m also dealing with some serious health issues but I’m writing this from Craft Social on the Beyond. Doing what Iove while I still can..

  19. OP did you have any purchases like excursions. Specialty dining, beverage or wi-fi upgrades that you had paid? If so did you cancel those before notifying Celebrity you wanted to cancel? If not those will be cancelled first and refunds processed to the credit card. After those are cancelled they then can process the cancellation of the cruise and refund your deposit. At least that has been our experience.
  20. The cabins that connect to the Magic carpet sky suites do not connect through an interior wall. They connect through a hallway that serves both doors.
  21. Not that I have experienced. The Concierge lunch has a limited menu and is held in one of the MDRs. Le Gran Bistro has a charge for meals and an it has an entitely different menu. It will be open and you can go there but you will be charged for the meal.

  23. If you just booked it takes some time before the AI beverage package and wi-fi are reflected in the system. Once that happens you should the upgrade option. One way to check to see if the wi fi & beverage package are in the system is to go to the Cruise Planner and look at Order History. You will see entries with $0.00 for those items.
  24. Currently on the Beyond r/t Fort Lauderdale (Cozumel, Grand Cayman & Bimini) clocks were adjusted back 1 hour prior to Cozumel.
