We have 2 loungers on the balcony of our MCSS last month along with 2 chairs and small low table.
-
But those extra nights you get closer to E+ and 2 bags of laundry and 240 mins internet each😉

Tier discounts showed on 1 of our booking, but it was hit or miss and disappeared never to return again.

Still not working and currently you can get the cruise planner discount and book individual reservation, buy a package with the cruise planner discounts and once on the ship or book your reservation it when on the ship and use your Captains Club discount. We just wait til we are on board and book individual reservations using our CC discount.

The reward is winning the bid you placed to get a better cabin, often for less than others paid. If you don’t like the T & C you don’t have to bid.
-
Dining package pricing in the Cruise Planner is already discounted and discounts don’t stack. With dining packages you can not make reservations ahead, you can only make reservations once on the ship.

We haven’t done a TA in 2 years but there were flash sales for our TP this past spring.

Murano is our choice. Over the years we have had more disappointing meals at Tuscan than good meals so we stopped going about 2 years ago.

If the Move Up price is more than paying to upgrade why wouldn’t one just pay to upgrade and get the beverage package, wi-fi, points and select the Suite? We have done that recently when the high end of the bid range was more than than the cost to upgrade.

Did you like Daniel Boulud Signatures on Luminae

Agree the duck is very good. Not a fan of the soup or chocolate pill. -
Stateroom Classic and Premium Drink packages
jelayne replied to toddmanka's topic in Celebrity Cruises
We got a 1 liter bottle and 6 cans of mix. We ended up not drinking all the bottle of liquor on a long B2B. Carrying drinks from cabin to somewhere on the ship or sitting by ourselves on the balcony ( which we do regularly at home ) wasn’t our thing. -
Most specialty restaurants are not open for lunch on sea days. Once or twice a sailing they may have a lunch offering in one of the specialties but that is a limited menu and is less expensive than the dinner menu.

How loud was music in public areas on Celebrity Edge?

The Grand Plaza can get very loud at times in the evening, particularly if it is Silent Disco night or time for the light show and martini pour. -
A Few Thoughts on the Retreat Privilege Package (RPP)

Where did you see there was a limit of 10 and does that limit include any under 12 children? I couldn’t find that info? -
A Few Thoughts on the Retreat Privilege Package (RPP)
jelayne replied to vacruisincouple's topic in Celebrity Cruises
That’s a good thing, but as a shareholder and long time passenger the current “sell anything” strategy will downgrade the experience. Premium Access & Retreat Privilege Package are selling privileges/amenities at a reduced rate and will detract from the experience of the passengers who booked cabins that included those things. -
There is not a Retreat Sundeck on the Reflection.

Washers and dryers are huge and many, many bags of laundry are washed together. If you have delicate items wash in sink or have dry cleaned.

When Can you Book Specialty Restaurants?
jelayne replied to jbcallender's topic in Celebrity Cruises
We have booked up to about a year out. Try using the website to book. The app can be rather glitchy. -
The bags we have gotten were cloth bags, decent size. If you bought the wash and fold package I would caution you not to put in delicate items, things that could shrink or fade. We use the bags for DH undies, socks, t-shirts, hankies, demin jeans/shorts.

A Few Thoughts on the Retreat Privilege Package (RPP)
jelayne replied to vacruisincouple's topic in Celebrity Cruises
Thanks for sharing the current info. Our last 6 cruises have been on E Class ships in a suite. The Retreat has been full on all of these sailings. The Sundeck has very crowded on sea days and we have experienced waits to be seated in Luminae. We have a sailing coming up where a SS is $11, if my sis and BIL join and book a OV which is $2600 for an additional $4K they get the Retreat amenities. Sorry it doesn’t set well with me. Celebrity seems to be intent on downgrading the value of their product. -
We are booked. There was a photo of the ship posted a short time ago on another site. It early so not much to see.

The mini fridge emptied and pillows can be handled by your cabin attendant, just let them know once on the ship. You didn’t mention where your sailing originates, but since it is January it wouldn’t be from Southampton where they do provide kettles.
