I loved it but it was always crowded. The food was just okay but the music was great and so were the cocktails!

I hope you all made your flights for the cruise today to Florida. I know I sat at LGA today waiting to get back home and the board at the Delta terminal was red with many delays and cancellations. I was so lucky to only be delayed only an hour but kept checking yesterday to switch flights and so many were sold out. I left last Saturday as Debby was approaching my area and was lucky to get out and couldn't believe I had to deal with it again today. please let us all know

Yes, there are. We had seats 3 and 4 on the Enchanted and they were perfect. We have also had seats 4 and 5 on the Sky which was also in the sun.

Perhaps we should just stick to the known facts and say a prayer for the kid that's missing, whether he ran away or was taken. As others have said, there are so many degrees of being on the autism spectrum and we have simply no idea about this young man's life or family. As we can see by the post that @azbirdmom did, that included the blurb from the aunt's social media page, many comments are very hurtful to the family so in case they come over here hoping for some news from fellow cruisers, let's not add to the tragedy. No one that has currently posted on this thread is on the ship, no one on here has first hand experience on how or why the grandson left the ship. Bickering over whether or not the medallion worked or didn't is just plain silly at this point. I don't want to lock the thread so rather than bickering over various speculations on what happened or didn't happen, maybe we can just share our thoughts and prayers for the family and the situation and hopefully post some good news when they find him.

Ocean terrace was strict in ordering and wouldn't make any changes on The Sky in December. You had to order what the designated meal was. On The Enchanted in April they allowed you to make changes and order other items rather than just the set menu.

Technically it's not a live from thread as it was started two months prior to a sailing, it's more a live from their life and their memories. This is technically a REVIEW of past cruises and ships. They still aren't on the journey to the cruise if you read the thread. Live from threads have started to come about maybe a week earlier as people are traveling to their destination and cruise. I have done that myself. I will say that this is a first for me in the many years that I have been both a member and a Host on the boards where one is started so far in advance. I think this is what has confused many members. New members as well as seasoned members, may not realize that what they are seeing is not coming from a current cruise and time.

August is fine for the Caribbean but many ships are deployed in Europe during that time frame which is why you don't see as much doing the Caribbean. It is hurricane season so the ship might have to change itineraries, there may be some rough seas if there is a storm and it will be HUMID, HOT and rainy season. It's still a great time to cruise and I would do it but know that things could change due to hurricane season.
