The nice thing about living in Seattle is we pretty much live with an eclipse October through April. Drywall is up!!! ETA: First pic is living room. One thing I always hated is that there was no lighting. So we had them put in six can lights. We also had them take out an arch that separated the entry (where I took the pic from) and the living room. And there was a gas fireplace that was in the corner by the window that we never used...we had them take that out as well.

Whether it means a tux/cocktail dress or shorts, dress to your comfort level and have fun. The only people who care what you wear are the CC dress code police.

My wife and I were eating lunch out on the street at Russian River, and I kept seeing people carrying 2 or 3 cases of beer out, one even had like 6 on a hand cart. Asked the waitress and she said, oh yeah that's our Pliny the Elder. I had one and was hooked. Left with two cases of it. Now every time we go down there I always bring a couple cases back home. Can't find it in any store here either.

Just followed! I just realized you can label your bottles opened, unopened, and empty as well. My wife just shakes her head at me with this ๐ I've got a few open bottles that are my mixers, about 10 nice bottles that are open and I drink neat occasionally, and about 30 unopened. I'm kinda following a self-imposed rule now that I can't open one until I've emptied one (I'm about one pour away from emptying my Smoke Wagon, and debating which I'll open next), and I SHOULD have a rule that I can't buy one unless I empty one...but what are ya gonna do ๐คทโโ๏ธ

I havenโt tried it before but this is a barrel pick so I figured it would be a great place to start! I'm not a huge fan of the 90 proof off the shelf Woodinville, but itโs local and this one is a cask strength group barrel pick that Iโve heard really good things about so I figured Iโd pick that one up as well.

Thank you for thinking of me! I haven't been here around much, work is busy and my wife got a new job with hours a bit later each evening so I've been playing more house husband as well ๐ House is coming along! They are finishing up with insulation this week. Then (yet another!!) inspection for that, then they'll start putting up drywall. That should take a few days then the real work begins...taping and mudding the drywall will take a week plus. From there the end is near with the finish work...paint, carpet, floors, trim, etc. We'll be picking out cabinets soon. Target date for move-in is mid-May, but not holding my breath. Could go later with delays, or could even be a bit sooner if everything goes perfectly.

And not really caring whether a cruise line chooses to give the crew free internet is not a crime against humanity. Lighten up.

Par for the course around here....plenty of folks complaining that whichever cruise line they are complaining about (obviously Royal on this board) is unethical, lying, fraudulent, etc. And by God they'll stop cruising with them once the (1, 2, 6, etc.) cruises they have deposits on are done! The sunk cost hypocrites are quite comical. "I have a $500 deposit that I'll lose, so I'd much rather give another couple grand to a fraudulent, unethical company than put my money where my mouth is and eat the deposit."

Supply and demand....if people are willing to pay that kinda money for those chairs, it would be crazy to not charge that much. @GetToLivin I have a feeling you'll have just as much fun "slummin' it up with the crowd below as they'll be having in those seats. -
All I can say is I've been there. Before my herniation/surgery, I was running 7 miles a day, 6 days a week. Afterwards, I measured my progress by how many times I could walk up and down the hallway of my house before my legs were to weak to keep going. Best of luck to you on Thursday, I hope you find some relief.

Spirit of Christmas time... This lady and her husband came into our shop yesterday about 2:00. There's a direct door into my (shared) office, so she walked in and asked if we could make a roasting pan. She had a little piece of paper with dimensions and all that. She had someone lined up to make one but it fell through, and she went to a couple other places close by and they gave her the "we don't have the time" brush off. I asked her when she needed it by...she looked down and kinda shyly said "Saturday??" Being the Thursday before Christmas, we had plenty of people out early, and more not working today to make a longer weekend. So I sent her over to our sales and production office, gave our salesman Mike a heads up that a very sweet lady was coming around with a huge ask and said to him if there's any way we can do something to make a good Christmas, let's make it happen. I walked over to the other side of the shop and saw her talking to Mike. Our folks were already on it. Our programmer was drawing something up, our production supervisor was looking for a scrap piece of material we could make her pan out of, and our brake press operator was getting his brake set up. Cindy (the lady) was tearing up....she told us that her husband was in stage 4 cancer, and this pan was for roasting a pig for a big party Sunday for his mom. She asked how much it was going to cost, and we told her it won't cost you anything....Merry Christmas. She cried some happy tears. We told her we'd call her in the morning when it was done. So this morning one of our welders welded it up, put some handles on it. She and her husband came in to pick it up....she brought cake for the gang. There are plenty of days in my job that really suck. In the 21+ years I've been working here, this may be the best day I've ever had. That's gonna be some pig. When you get a chance to make someone's Christmas...just do it ๐
