If your ship docks at 10.30 I'm not sure that you would have time to do both these locations, or at least to do then justice. They are both amazing places, which are worth while spending time in, particularly if the weather is reasonable. When we were there traffic was quite heavy, so allow plenty of time to get back for your other tour.
Maybe you could do the Viglan Park afterwards, if the ship doesn't sail until evening?

:) Yes, Viglan Sculpture Park is a must. I wasn't really bothered about it when I saw the shore excursion's itinerary, but the coach had a 30 minute stop there. In the end I could have stopped a lot longer, I'm not a great fan of sculptures normally, but these are amazing, over 200 in bronze and granite symbolising the circle of life. This is the reason why Vigeland displayed all the sculptures without clothes. He wanted them to be timeless instead of resembling people from a certain generation. Never have I seen statues which express so much emotion before.
The park is open 24/7 so early evenings should be quieter and perfect for a gentle stroll. There are frequent trams from the city centre.

It starts on Monday June 8th, last day is Sun 14th. There are two more strike days in between , but not sure which they are.

Have just heard that Spanish Air Traffic Controllers are striking for 4 days in June. Luckily it starts after we arrive in Barcelona for our cruise on Allure, so no worries about missing the ship, but they will be on strike the day we fly back. Anyone know how RCI will assist if our flight is delayed or cancelled? (We have booked the flights through them by the way).
Can help with Q for Oslo if someone needs it;)

Hi
We are visting Oslo on 3rd July, arriving on the Independence Of The Seas, although I do not know which port. As we have been to Oslo before we are not booking an organised excursion, but would particularly like to visit the Vigeland Park, which we missed last time. Can you advise how to get to the city centre, and where we might board a tram for the park (I believe its Tram 12)? After our visit, is there a convenient bus back to the city centre or do we have to return by tram? FInally, can we buy or tickets on the tram & bus, or do they have to be obtained before boarding?
Thanks in anticipation
