Here’s my photo of same dish in YC last week. Two clams. But some in sauce and not dry. Pasta was cooked fine.

Enjoyed the lighthouse show. We hung out in Top Sail and enjoyed the duo. Our friends went to watch basketball in sports bar but I watched in cabin

Last night’s dinner. We think filet in Butchers is much better! Overall though this food was much better than Grandiosa in 2022. Quality of shrimp is way better!!

Time to say goodbye to Seascape. I’ll finish up here at airport. Loved Ocean Cay! Unfortunately, I started with cold symptoms Thursday and feel pretty bad today. Ugh.

Ocean Cay is gorgeous. It is second to private island on Seabourn which is a high bar to meet. I’m so glad we were able to dock to experience it

Yes.i had two and could still play games with our friends. But nice drink! Reminds me of Aqua de Valencia. If you ever go to Valencia…try it!!

Yesterday dinner in hola tacos. Huge miss. Slooooow service. Bad food. Not good. I think we messed up buying three meal package since third has to be Ocean Key. Not impressed with mention there. Live and learn.

Today we are in Puerto Plata. We went for a walk to umbrella street, pink street and the amber museum. Very easily walkable once you navigate the gauntlet of tour guides. It was really hot though so we went back for a dip in the pool before pizza for lunch at the buffet. Then we played some games in the lounge.

Last night dinner was Butcher Cut! Superb! My friend thought her filet was way better there than YC. played name that tune love songs. 35/40 but someone had 36 rest of night enjoyed various acts in Caberet. Definitely one of my favorite venues on any ship!

Had a great day in San Juan yesterday. Walked to the fort and then to Barachina where the pina colada was allegedly invented. Longish wait for well worth it IMG_7179.mov

Dinner last night was fantastic. Great lobsters! Had the bisque and lobster. Everyone skipped dessert tonight. Went to movie name that tune. 32/40 but not a win. Show was entertaining. Surprised by amount of talking in theater and sounds of electronics.

Very lazy day on board. The welcome party in YC was very well attended. This captain is adorable! Had a great lunch in dining room and then played some games in the lounge. Now it’s time to get ready for elegant night!!

No escorts there for non YC but you just go and scan. We just went after lunch since we were escorted to the YC as a huge group. It took seconds. Much better than Grandiosa YC in 2022

Captain morning report told us the Caribbean’s largest iceberg could be viewed from the starboard side. This captain is hilarious. I’d put picture but of course it was April Fools!

Day at sea! I look forward to meeting the captain later today. His announcements are the most energetic of almost 50 cruises. His bye bye is delightful.
