  1. Normally, the O'Sheehans (or comparable pub) is 24 hours.
  2. Have truly appreciated the chance to read your reviews. This cruise seemed to be a good mix of solo and social for you, and the chance for many Tribe members to meet and get to know each other. It was great to see everyone getting together. I'm hoping you will continue to post on the Tribe thread, or at least give occasional updates.
  3. Ok, so I'm 17 pages late, but got here before the cruise started. Have a great time Sid!
  4. It was several years ago, and on NCL Pearl, but there were several hot alcoholic drinks (not just spiked coffees) offered on Glacier Bay day. We had a balcony cabin, and they even sent around a special menu to order drinks to your room during glacier viewing.
  5. I am pretty sure this was it! It was delicious! Thank you!
  6. Hmm, I know the name was not Cod or Cobia. Thanks though.
  7. Um, the meat itself was a whitish fish, I guess? It had other stuff on each portion, maybe lemon(?) In the serving tray.
  8. I know this is a long shot, but it was so good I have to give it a try. Cruised the Bliss, Mexican Riviera, 3/19/23 - 3/26/23. On the final night, at the carving station in the buffet, they were serving roasted suckling pig (it was amazing!) But, directly beside the pig, there was "Grilled __(some type of fish)__". It was FABULOUS! It was a type of fish I had never tried, or even heard of. It seems that it started with a C, but I can't be sure of that. Does anyone know what type of fish it was?
  9. I would clarify, 3 total - each. 1 each with the FAS, and 2 each with the upgrade.
  10. On the pictured Entertainment listing, it shows the comedy acts, with dates and times, held in The Social. Then, it shows 2 dates and times for the Bliss Theater, but doesn't specify what acts. Would that be 1 18+ show for each of the comedians?
  11. Haven't been on a cruise since right before the shutdown, and have only been on 2 cruises total. We found it helpful previously, to have our sail cards punched, and hook on a lanyard. Have read that that is no longer possible, with a new type of card. So, I am wondering now, if the cards are in a clear pouch type thing on a lanyard, will the card have to be removed each time to be "swiped", or can it be read through the clear plastic? Thanks! Enjoying following along.
  12. Oh yeah, another question... Is the "drink card" a separate physical card, or is it just something noted on my regular ship card?
  13. Oh, also wondering if I will be able to get most of the basic drinks that people mention, at the casino bar (mango meltdown, bushwhacker, mudslide, painkiller, pineapple something 🤔 lol, margaritas, LIIT, daiquiri, drinks of the day, etc)?
  14. Have a cruise booked on Bliss in March 2023 through CAS. I've been told that both of us in the room will receive a drink card for use in the casino. (Not a big gambler, and only offered an inside room, so most assuredly would be the most basic drink card offered.) I have read that the card can be used for "house drinks" (would like to know what a "house drink" is), water, cans of soda, energy drinks, and specialty coffees. But, I would love some more information on this. Is it ONLY while playing in the casino? (Like seated, with credits in a machine?) Have to be ordered from a cocktail server? Or can they be ordered from the casino bar? (If from the bar, that would seem to mean that one wouldn't have to be actively playing. Unless at bar-top machines? Can more than 1 item be ordered at a time? (Like an alcoholic drink and a box of water?) What does "specialty coffee" mean? Is that like a Starbucks mocha or Frappuccino type coffees, or just any latte or cappuccino type coffee drink? We are planning on declining the Free At Sea drink package, and just using the casino drink card for most of our drinking (neither of us are huge drinkers, but may purchase some drinks out by the Pool or at other times. Still much less money than paying gratuities on FAS package). Any other info or suggestions welcomed! TIA!
  15. What an amazing thing to do! You are an exceptionally kind human!
  16. I wondered if it would be possible to bring one or two of those shells home. I don't think I could've passed up the opportunity to at least try!
  17. @sid_9169 I don't know if you are into this type of thing, but there is supposed to be a great possibility of an exceptional Meteor shower tonight. I would think a cruise ship would be the perfect place to get a great view. https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.cnn.com/cnn/2022/05/30/world/tau-herculids-meteor-shower-scn/index.html I know it would be after your bedtime, and you've had clouds all day, but thought I'd mention it in case its something you might be interested in. Loving the review! Have a great dinner tonight!
