    2026 Cruises?

It's in the news release on the Crystal website: https://www.crystalcruises.com/press/crystal-announces-release-dates-for-2026-itineraries 2026 Deployment Preview
  2. DJ Disco and/or Karaoke in Jade nightclub 10pm until late. Assorted (piano, violin, guitar) live music in the Cove until 11:30pm. Live Ballroom dance music generally in Starlite until 11:30pm. Occasionally in Cove or Palm Court. Live music in the Avenue 10pm until late; generally piano bar with the occasional jazz etc evening by the show band if the pianist has the night off. All the venues have bars. All the performers and set times are spelled out in the daily Reflections. PS Don’t run out of the Galaxy after the evening show too quickly. Cruise Director Vicki has a very entertaining comedy commentary on the next day’s schedule etc.
  3. Crystal may also offer a debark tour that ends at the airport for those with evening flights.

    2026 Cruises?

I’ve been reliably informed that I was the first person to book a 2026 cruise today. Yeah!

    2026 Cruises?

No June departures for Symphony (yet).
  6. Definitely the worse in a long time.
  7. Somewhere between midnight and 4am we’ve stopped bouncing! Needless to say, there was no dancing last night, at least by anyone sensible and a lot of safety modifications were made to the evening schedule. Thanks to Pianist with the Hair for an excellent show in the Galaxy.
  8. Thanks! Another couple of hours to go.
  9. 92 mph wind gusts as the Symphony bounces through the North Sea on the way from Copenhagen to Ijmuiden (Amsterdam).
  10. Such sad news re Slavko. Fortunately his wife and son were on with him on his last segment before he left on vacation.
  11. Not to mention the soap dish is a long ways away from the sink thus causing a lot of water dripping as one goes from one to the other etc.
  12. Correct. You can book for up to 8 persons at the table. It sounds like you may have more. I suggest you book for 8 and tell the extras to do a booking for the remainder at the same time. Then once on board on Day 1, go discuss what might be feasible and preference for round table.
  13. They do both as the mood strikes them.
  14. Currently there is a white party on every cruise. Wearing white is encouraged but not required. Some people wear dressy outfits, others very casual. So pretty much anything goes.
  15. There are also people who hang out in the area to watch the dancing. Over the years I've had people I come up to me and mention when I'm wearing their favorite outfit, or tell me which host they think I enjoy dancing with the most and/or dance the best with etc.
  16. The Starlite is on the Symphony, the Stardust on the Serenity. The former is a far superior dance venue not just because it is bigger but because it is light and airy with windows on either side. The Stardust is fully enclosed.
  17. NO!!! Us ballroom dancers already have to suffer through too many non ballroom songs in the ballroom dance venue. Instead I suggest you ask for Pulse to open earlier.
  18. Yes, I was on the Serenity. It’s back to the Symphony for my next cruises.
  19. By the end of the cruise, he was drawing quite a crowd and had a very upbeat presence. His voice had recovered and he was able to sing. His first week on board, he could not. He is a very talented musician.
  20. And mine is July 30, same problem.
  21. @ivyleaguegent, I’ll pass along your compliment to the 100 year old woman who was dancing on your cruise and on the current one continues to be out there dancing every evening. I’ve already shown your comments to the duo who of course were very pleased with your remarks.
  22. Yes - on all of them.
