Just called Royal and they have confirmed the website and reservations are not updated it will no longer be going to Mexico. The correct ports of call are Nassau and CocoCay. She said the website and other travel website will be updated tomorrow on the normal work week.

Glad everyone is safe along the coast and very lucky it moved east a tad, we were to have originally boarded the Majesty today, i know it was a hard decision for RCCL to make to cancel but we trying to make the best of it, we rented a car and came to Bradenton to visit family so the trip was not a total waste. Guess that is the chance we take when you book a cruise during hurricane season. Thankful today everyone is OK!!

we are on the 7th cruise and still plan on leaving from ATL Thursday to overnight stay in Cocoa Beach but thinking of changing to Orlando as i have been told if the winds are over 40 mph you cannot get over the bridge they will shut it down. Worst case they may go to Tampa and bus everyone back to PC, and then bus PC people over to Tampa to board. Tomorrow will tell us more still too early to predict so i doubt we will see an itinerary change this early! Praying for those in Haiti today they have no options at least we do!! Safe travels!!

We are to sail on Majesty on Friday, keeping on close watch as i don't see where she will be able to make it back to port on Friday. Hope RCCL comes out with a update today. Wondering if they will cancel the 3 day, so many what if's but nothing like the folks in Haiti, we have option they don't. Praying everyone stay safe!!

Yes you will be able to find good choices at stores on the Seawall or the Strand. Good Luck, Happy Cruising!!!

Agree with all comments already stated, it's our favorite class!! the aft balcony's can't be beat either!!:D
-
we've taken our own in years past and also used the battery operated ones on the balcony at night. We never left them on overnight but nice to sit at night with the glow of the lights!! Love that others like to decorate during the holiday makes Christmas cruising alot more fun!!

Medical emergency last night caused a 2 hr delay arriving in port this morning.

I'm supposed to depart from Port Canaveral on Friday morning.
Should I be prepared for a cancellation?:mad::mad::mad:
We are sailing out on Friday too on the EOS, watching the weather channel and it looks like we'll be sailing right on scheduled. Storm will be moved north by then. Looking forward to a beautiful weekend cruise! :D

Currently on Enchantment in Nassau.
Boarding was a breeze. Arrived at PC terminal at 12:30 and on ship by 12:45.
We have enjoyed beautiful weather!
Wifi a bit slow but not complaining since it was free the first day and next 24 hours with our Diamond coupon.
We are in a JS and our adult sons are in the JS next to us.
I can confirm they have the delicious Roast Beef sliders on Sat at the Park Cafe by Solarium.
Plan on long waits at most bars. Service very slow.
Windjammer just okay.
Cabin attendant is very attentive and friendly.
Hoping we have the same weather tomorrow at Cococay.
Overall enjoying a nice long weekend.
Cheers!
We are boarding on Friday and can't wait, We watched you sail in today on webcam, you are having beautiful weather, the water was so calm. Enjoy Coco Cay tomorrow!! Can you tell me who the Diamond Concierge is?

I was wondering the same thing!! it should have left at 4 today. Hope nothing is wrong!

We were upgraded on the Adventure in April and did not find out until we arrived to check in. The young man said our cabin number was xxxx and I said no that was the wrong cabin and he said yes ma'am it sure is, you have been upgraded. We originally had the covenanted corner aft balcony and were upgraded to JS aft. 1st time ever upgraded and very much appreciated. Just wonder how many times that happens at the pier?!!

The Adventure has a great Diamond Lounge. You will enjoy the indoor and outdoor seating. The concierge in April was Ryno and he is awesome, he pays attention to details and goes out of his way to make you feel welcome.

1688 or 1388 great for room size and nice balcony
7688 and 7388 wonderful balcony and views
If interested in JS 1694 and 1394
be careful of aft balcony's on 8 & 9 as they really have no privacy overhead. People above can see down in your balcony.

Yes they go up the day after Thanksgiving, it's so fun to walk around each day and see something new go up!!! We love to cruise in December to see the beautifully decorated ships and a bonus we have our Christmas cards done onboard!

We have only been on about 5 cruises, 1 on carnival (2007) and 3 on rccl since then including freedom of the seas and allure of the seas. My wife and I are wondering if the bean counters taking over the food budget on rccl. Even on captains night there wasn't the steak or lobster choice. Rccl seems to not care about the choices of food available. Presentation was good. Also it seems like the rccl staff in the MDR travel in waves. You don't seem them for 10 minutes when you want something, and then they come all at once with bread, water, or drinks. One night our table was never even asked if we wanted a drink from the bar.
My wife and I are rapidly thinking of doing research to which cruise line has the best choices of meals, and the best shows. I know allure has the best shows hands down, but their MDR is just bland. We probably won't go on another cruise for awhile until we see something that wows us. We are both tired of the Caribbean destinations as they all seem to be the same, so are interest will be strictly the ship and its offerings. I heard that carnival has better food than rccl. Can anybody else give an opinion on who has the best food and shows?
PS. We had 11 folks in our recent feb 2015 cruise and were disappointed that rccl could not get us a table where we all could sit down together. We had parents with their 50th anniversary and planned this cruise a year in advance.
Sorry to hear your experience was not up to par. We have been on 26 cruises and must say we are Loyal to Royal. We have tried NCL and Carnival and still think RCCL is the best experience by far. Not sure if you are aware however you can order a steak off the menu in the MDR any night. Also if you have a preference ask your waiter and they just might be able to accommodate your wishes. We will be on the Adventure in month can't wait!!!

We just sailed the Indy last month and boarded at 11 on by 11:15. Once onboard we browsed around went and had lunch and were in the room by 1:00. You will want to make sure you see your room steward that afternoon to make sure he has the crib by bedtime delivered if it's not in the room. That day can be very hectic for them so best to make sure it's addressed right away! Enjoy your cruise you will love the Indy!

And She's heading to dry dock now, Leaving Port Canaveral.

Great Cabin we have it booked on our next two in the Voyager Class. Great balcony and lots of room in the cabin itself.
Why was Serenade of the Seas Oct 25th Itinerary change?
in Royal Caribbean International

We are on the 30th sailing from Tampa and received the same notice, RCCL has no explanation why they will no longer be gong to Mexico ports of call from Tampa. There are a few other threads discussing this topic as well. The Brillance canceled its cruises from Tampa until Dec and they transferred the reservations from those cruises over to Serenade, so they've had a ship change as well as now an itinerary change We were looking forward to going back to Mexico!!
