  1. << What itemized breakdown are you talking about? Is this on your invoice or something you saw on Princess.com. The itemized data list on the princess site always lists the full price of all the benefits had you NOT gotten the plus. It is not what you actually paid. Is this what you mean?>> . . . Thanks for this. It is likely the correct explanation, but it sure didn't seem clear to me. The invoice after payment shows no breakdown of individual charges.
  2. I tried calling. Got someone who could not communicate in English and kept reading the total amount of the fare and what I paid as deposit. I fully support hiring employees from anywhere in the world, but language/communication skill should be required.
  3. We booked the Plus package at $60, expecting it would be $600 ($1200 for two) for the 10-night cruise. But the itemized breakdown (which seems to have disappeared from our account) showed the Plus charge at $734 each, $1,468 total. Can someone please explain? Also, where can one find the itemized breakdown of the various charges? Please help.
  4. We never received a refund due from unused (refundable) onboard credits for a January cruise on Sky Princess. I have seen earlier posts about these refunds being delayed but four months seems excessive. Anyone have recent experiences to share? Thanks. (Submitted inquiry via website but I don't expect an immediate reply.)
  5. I share the beer snob's disappointment in the small selection of draughts but understand the difficulty in providing more. Anyway, I learned on a recent cruise that some beers (cans/bottles) are available even if not listed on a menu. To wit: John Smith, an English ale that is a seldom-seen brew in the States. (Even snobbier beer snobs know that this product is now owned by Heineken and might not be the same as in years past, but I was still happy to discover it, thanks to my happenstance bar seating beside a gentleman from somewhere in England.)
  6. Do the folks at corporate offices monitor these forums? I would hope so; there's some constructive criticism (from satisfied customers) here.
  7. We were very well pleased with a recent Sky Princess voyage and would've been happy to do the post-cruise survey to express our satisfaction -- but finally gave up on completing the apparently endless list of repetitious questions. Why wouldn't the company want to make this more painless for people who don't want to waste so much time?
  8. Not that it matters to anyone else, but just to follow up: Our medallions arrived today, just in time for this week's departure — but the USPS tracking information never did update after the initial Dec. 14 notice that they were being shipped.
  9. <<You'll definitely have football next week!>> That's good to know but I fear that my games (AFC South) are not likely to be among the chosen. (Not seeing any TV or MUTS listings on the app; maybe later.)
  10. I'm in a similar quandary about next Sunday's final NFL games. I don't suppose there's any chance of learning in advance which games will be available onboard.
  11. I've been checking previous posts about televised NFL games and am satisfied that at least one game will be available on Jan. 7, but would really like to know about the chances of choosing any particular game. Some posts have suggested the casino TVs offer various options. Or Internet streaming maybe? Somebody please help with recent information or suggestions, please.
  12. I posted about the same concern earlier: medallions supposedly shipped a while ago but still haven't arrived. But since we're listed as "green lane" can we still use it (assuming it's quicker) or must we line up with the blue people? Not a huge deal, agreed, but would still like to know how to proceed and not waste time in the wrong lane.
  13. Will masking tape stick? Anyone tried it?
  14. We're leaving in a week and haven't received the medallions. Got an e-mail several days ago saying they had shipped but the tracking link shows USPS waiting for them since Dec. 14 and no further information is available. . . . I haven't seen any recent posts about this issue and am curious if this is a common problem, or maybe a new problem. I understand we can get medallions at the port, but it would be nice to have the delivery that was promised.
  15. What's the easiest way to keep up with one's onboard account these days? I believe that the room TV can show it and assume it's on the app somewhere, but is it still possible to get printouts as needed? Thanks for any replies.
