  1. Nope. You would have to cancel the excursions - assuming you were within deadline to cancel and get a refund to credit card. But this would need to be before sailing I believe or they refund to account. Then you would need to re-book soon after boarding and hope both space available and not a higher price. Very likely the price goes up. I would find another way to spend the OBC. BTW, is the TA OBC a group OBC like $50/$75/$85? Or is this an OBC being given to you in lieu of a cash discount off the fare? If the latter, it should be Refundable OBC, in which case unspent dollars are refunded to you. If you are not sure, ask your TA as they should well know if refundable or not. Group OBC is non-refundable.
  2. Yes, account balances and info just roll forward until your final segment.
  3. I asked because I am wondering if some data got corrupted that was okay before.
  4. Not sure if when you call in to get your CVP or a Princess (MedallionClass) App rep. I would ask what exact Name, Birthdate, and CC Member Number is associated with your reservation in both POLAR (main reservation system) and the App system.
  5. Hi. You didn't say where flying from/to, so it is difficult to see where the issue might be. For domestic travel, the pricing shouldn't make any significant difference. Even for international, it might be fine since with EZ-Air we don't pay the huge penalty for booking 1-way that the airlines whack you with (they pretty much charge a round trip price for a 1-way flight). I agree with all the good points on advantages of EZ-Air that @caribill mentioned above in Post #6. If your total voyage is not too long, you may be able to book a round trip by extending departure date on voyage 1 or flying in real early relative to voyage 2. I also don't know if you are trying to fly the same airline both ways. I was not overly concerned with which airline(s) we flew to/from Europe this Fall. Our trip was much too long to book a round trip flight from either end of the total trip. I just wanted to be sure I was booking a decent business class section and reasonable travel route/time. I found it a huge advantage to be able to book separate one-ways. I could monitor prices and change or re-book flights independently when price dropped. Prices did not necessarily move in tandem for outbound and return (also > six weeks apart). In the end, we ended up on different airline than the initial bookings - just one airline change. I made SEVERAL re-bookings using self-serve EZ-Air in the Cruise Personalizer. In the end, we had the lowest possible business class fare for the dates we were flying in/out. I wouldn't worry too much about what may appear to be high price right now - not knowing your route - as things can and do change. But perhaps you can book a round trip ticket by using suggestions provided. I would still monitor flight options between now and 60 days out and see if there is a better deal. PS - Our flights ran smoothly and we had a single connection each way to/from Europe. I suppose I should stay out of casinos, because both airlines substituted inferior equipment for the overseas leg (going and coming back), such that we got their older business class section instead of the spanking new one that should have been. It was like a fluke change for that one day out of the schedule. What are the chances I ask??? Anyway, any seat in business for overseas beats coach.
  6. I attend a M&G to meet other CC members on the Roll Call who I have private tours with as it is nice to get to meet folks face to face ahead of the tours. Otherwise, I don't find them of much interest. It depends on which officers come and what they have to say. We had a good M&G on Island in early Nov, but not many officers showed beyond the CD. At least not ones I was interested in and none really spoke other than the CD.
  7. Login is Cabin and Birthdate. Is it possible they don't have your correct BD in the system? I really don't know otherwise and don't know the exact point the App closes on you. I'm just guessing here as I don't know, but I would be insisting on more help or ask if they can contact HQ on the issue. There is no reason the basic login using Cabin/BD should not work. Have you tried to login using one of the Internet Cafe computers the ship provides for guests?
  8. Interesting, because my observation was that originating passengers and connecting passengers were mixed and passing through the same security area in T5.
  9. Not sure what you were trying to do exactly, but if you are on a cruise and on-board and connected to MedallionNet, you cannot access future cruise bookings you may have. Need to be disconnected from ship's wifi.
  10. I don't disagree with the environmental protection concern, but seems to be Princess - or at least the Captain - should have anticipated such a situation and had the ship checked before heading to NZ, or had a planned cleaning before going there. This is not like it's a new thing for Princess. We did a trip to NZ out of Sydney once and never heard of the issue.
  11. I have had confirmation from my contact that the new MedallionNet pricing applies both pre-cruise and on-board, so we will no longer encounter a higher price after boarding. Guests can now elect to wait and book on board if having difficulties getting the 50% discount applied in MC App pre-cruise, or if they want to use OBC. I did not receive an answer to the single-day cost which is bookable on-board. I wouldn't be surprised to see an increase from $20/day - perhaps $25, but won't know this until someone advises. This is very little used no doubt. If anyone is desperate to know, I can inquire. Or ask on a live-from thread as the poster may ask the Internet Mgr and get a better answer.
  12. YeahBut.... for me, the problem with T5 at Heathrow is they do not have a sterile transfer area for those passengers connecting to another flight and you have to go through this convoluted a long security screening process when you ought to be able to move easily to the next flight - even if a passport check is involved. Poor design, IMO. It was a nightmare for us to connect to our flight at LHR in November. Both flights were BA-operated, BTW.
  13. I had posted on this thread or another concerning the new price increases related to MedallionNet. As we know, the single device plan is increasing from $10 to $15 and the 4-device plan is increasing from $20 to $40. My contact had been away, but the answer as to on-board versus pre-cruise has been answered. There is no longer an increase once on-board. Same pricing applies. So, if a guest is having trouble pre-ordering and not receiving the 50% off, they can wait until on-board and price is the same. Also helps folks who prefer to use OBC to pay for MedallionNet. I did not get an answer to the cost of a single day MedallionNet on-board, but I wouldn't be surprised to see it increase from the former $20/day.
  14. Thought I saw one recently, but cannot find it. The names listed in the chart are accurate at least.
  15. I think you need to re-read your post and compare to the OP's trip. The OP is flying SAN-SEA-YVR and asking about the connection time in SEA. That is a US-CAN routing. You wrote about connecting in Toronto (YYZ) and that is a whole other beast. That said, it has been greatly streamlined from say 10 years ago. Of course you have to clear immigration on arrival in Canada, but that is not what the OP is posting about. And no, flying from CAN to US is not like flying domestic as you pre-clear US Immigration/Customs in the Canadian airport and you then move into a secure section of the terminal that is strictly for US flights. Upon arrival in US, then you are like a domestic passenger.
  16. I cannot disagree a lot with their comments. Why is a steak grilled without seasoning and why is presented plain dry on a plate with not sauce or nothing? Yes, a couple or three sauces are available, but waiters should be asking and the chef should be coming up with a better presentation package than a sprig of rosemary.
  17. All the ships have a poker table, and not sure if 100% are replaced new, but I have seen/heard of only new ones this year. Little different interface, same poker menu, but now that have added rip-off side-bet option for the Flop and you can also play BJ or Baccarat on the video in front of you. I do know the BJ is limited in terms of what you can do due to screen size - such as only one split allowed per hand. It does pay 2:1 on BJ. Bets anywhere from $1 up. Only two hands can be played at once.
  18. Either the most recent App update or the one prior mentioned providing a signal or icon change - or something - to a guest when they have a msg from a shipmate. I have no proof nor verification this is working, however.
  19. Flying or connecting from a US airport to Canada is like flying domestic. No special zones or immigration, etc. It helps to be flying same airline, or at least partner airlines (like UA/AC, for example).
  20. See comment above. When you do login to the App - assuming you actually get in okay, you must be seeing your personal icon or photo at the top left of the screen. Tap on that and a menu page pops out from the left. Among other things, it should show any booked voyages on the left side of that pop-out. If there is nothing there, you don't have any bookings associated with the profile you logged in with. Have you tried the other way (Booking Number, Name, Birthdate)? If that gets you into the booking, there is a possibility you have two login profiles and perhaps even two Captain Circle member numbers. Time to get on the phone with Princess and have them poke around in the system and see what all is there for you as a guest.
  21. Do not attempt to use "Link My Booking". It is totally unclear what this was supposed to be. Either the System auto-connects your bookings when you login with userid/pswd, or you can get into the booking with Booking Number, Name, Birthdate. We guests cannot do anything with the "Link Booking" function and it really ought to be removed.
  22. Thrak saw G on the previous voyage. I would think he went home for Christmas, but that is just a WAG since I have no inside info on them (@PescadoAmarillo).
