We just did this on our RCI Alaska itinerary this past September. We had no trouble making a noon flight. However to assure that this is what we opted to do. We were an extended family with 4 adults and 2 kids 5/8. We did self assist and took the elevator from the terminal upstairs to the Pan Pacific Hotel walked out to the curb and our private transportation was waiting. Even if there would have been just the two of and there have been several times debarking at this port we have never had trouble with a noon flight time.

You don't need to say anything to anyone about the "no show"...No one will ask and no one in the terminal or onboard cares. The refunds that will be automatically refunded will go back to the credit card that made the final payment. Or at least this is what we've experienced.

Agree...This was one of the best port terminals we've been to. The birds/animals exhibit was such an amazing surprise. We ported there this past October during our Panama Canal RCI itinerary.

We took our drinks across the hall to the Vortex area...great views from there and they had it designated for upper tiers since there were so many on our PC itinerary. 116 Pinnacles 326 D+ 357 D

More than likely it won't update...RCI...not surprised. Check your SeaPass card when you board and also go to the MDR to verify your change. You should have no problems since you have a screenshot.

We'll also still be porting at Bar Harbor for our Oct 2023 RCI Liberty cruise. Agree this change can be seen on the RCI schedule for Oct 2024...substituting Sydney instead.

Just on Serenade this past September & October. CL is now for suites (GS & above) with comp drinks and snacks 5-8. During other hours there was morning continental breakfast and cookies etc throughout the day. It was nice to be able to use our 5 drink vouchers pp during the day anywhere. Enjoyed Serenade especially for our October Panama Canal.

NCL isn't offering their cruise train transfer from ANC to Seward day of cruise ?? A bit surprised as we've used the train transfer with RCI early May from Seward to ANC. Hope you called NCL directly to check this out.

You can also try checking Hyatt Place rates with ValueTrips or directly with Hyatt as a member. This hotel is a great location (just off 17th Street and behind Embassy Suites) right next to the Harbor Shopping center with a Publix Market, many shops and restaurants. They offer a shuttle from FLL to their hotel (current price is $5.00 room charge not per person). They do have a port shuttle but you can just take a taxi which will be easy, quick and less expensive. They also will hold your luggage post cruise and may offer a day pass for you.

Gift certificates redeemed for OBC can't be used toward pre-cruise purchases through your cruise planner. You must wait until you board to use them.

This is just what I was told when I called. Perhaps there is a way to get comped other than through the casino. But either way it certainly didn't apply to mine.

We haven't seen this AO dining option post covid. They used to take the kids to the WJ every evening. This was a nice option perhaps it will return.

If you dock at Crown Bay take the $4.00pp open air taxi into town. When ready to return flag down another one...you can't miss them they drive around shouting "Back to the ship". This is such an easy DIY port.

Lot's of shops at Havensight and along the water front is a favorite restaurant of ours The Smoking Rooster...try the banana pudding !!!

We will continue to miss the covid closed restaurant Punto de Vista on top of the Milano Hotel...it was such a favorite of ours for great food and happy hour drinks.

Are you not cruising until March 2023? If so you have plenty of time to figure this out before you get to your hotel in San Pedro...Crown Plaza...right. Have you considered purchasing the Binex Abbott covid test online and taking them with you and do the test at your hotel the night before you sail. The email results will be sent to you within 15 min. This couldn't be easier...we along with many others have done it this way when it's been necessary.

Only one time I've had a problem seeing my cruise credits applied. After a few weeks I called C&A and asked why they hadn't been added and was told because it was a "comped cruise" !! No, sorry it was not...they checked my booking and corrected the mistake. Forty + RCI cruises and have never had a "comped cruise"

You're very lucky. They had lots of bad reviews during covid as far as refunds go. From what I understood (read here on CC) the owner purchased a new Tesla during this time. Hmmm. Would I recommend them them after all the bad press....no...But glad it worked out for you.

I just checked the fine print on 5 of them I have and they say. To use towards the payment of a cruise, reservation(s) must be made at least two business weeks prior to the sail date and the gift certificate must be redeemed before final payment date (at least 10 business days prior to sail date). For OBC must be redeemed 10 business days prior to sail date. I actually don't cut it that close when using them to pay my final which is always what I use them for.

Agree...We've purchased a few items there but nothing C&A related...for those we depend on our adult kids knowledge to win for our group effort onboard. A small return on our college investment in them.

Yes...and it was a perfect spot for our drop off/ pick up and an easy quick walk to where the shuttle bus parked. We had a meet up time and all walked back together. There was a shop in the square that the owner was allowing the RCI DIY cruiser's to use their restroom...and it was pointed out to our group when we arrived. The shuttle bus guide provided so much information during our drive from the port to the square...a history lesson about Florence. Then once we arrived he gave us walking maps. This made it so easy to then venture out on our own for several hours before being back at the meet up time. This was a great excursion option.

CVS or a lot of Urgent Care facilities will give them.. I too don't understand the need for this sailing out of San Pedro. Can't you just do a self test and show results at the terminal ?
