  1. I agree, but sadly not an option on Millennium of course...
  2. The exclusions are concisely listed there as well... ... doesn't mean you won't find local exceptions on some ships though, but the intent to exclude restaurants is clear.
  3. I certainly don't mind giving them 10's, I just intensely dislike the management policies that force them to have to ask...
  4. We'll be on Eclipse in just over a week, I'll confirm then, but I believe you are correct
  5. Rare, but it does happen, as described by the OP, and it is only in that circumstance, where these cabins are the only ones being offered despite not indicating a need for one, that I would consider it appropriate to be booking one. Parking in disabled spaces is always inexcusable, we provide transport for my father-in-law who cannot manage to walk more than a few yards these days and I remain amazed at both those who ignore the designation of the spaces, and at the weird locations chosen for the spaces on occasions.
  6. I fear that the current marketing of the 'Premium' drinks package is going to cause some disappointment...
  7. Completely agree that nobody should be requesting one without need, but when it is a few weeks out from the sailing date and that is all that is left, and is being offered without specifying a need then it feels like there has been plenty of time for anyone who does require one to have booked it.
  8. Excellent news if those are all actually available, rather than just listed on the menu. Thanks for the update, now just try to leave some for us on the next cruise 🙂
  9. The 'Always Available' selections are shown on the MDR menu in the app with the title of 'Timeless'
  10. Our very first cruise was on Voyager back when it was still Radisson, not Regent, we have also sailed on Navigator, and we would certainly second looking at Regent. Can't argue with trying expedition ships while you are both still fit and mobile as well.
  11. Thanks again for all the great photos, I swear you do more to effectively market these itineraries than Celebrity 🙂 We've added a few to our bucket list just based on your previous threads...
  12. Our cruise is only 3 weeks away and we can still see the 35% savings on some items, it isn't 35% on all though so it may just be that the ones that were at that rate have sold out... For us though it wasn't worth changing anything as the prices we got 6 months ago are still considerably cheaper than the current prices even with 35% discount...
  13. It has always seemed a pity to me that they don't use the standard hotel style folding tables for room service, if they can't actually have a useable table in the cabin. ... but then you have to deal with the lack of suitable seating as well of course... Still loving your eye for color and composition in your photos, and that T-shirt is never going to get old... 🙂
  14. That's why we never use the dining packages, prefer to book in advance to get the times and venues on the days that we want. Can always add more if there are deals once you board...
  15. Highly unlikely you would be without the ability to book something, but you might find you are left with Sushi or Le Petit Chef, rather than Murano or Tuscan, for example...
  16. You can check the ingredients in the Celebrity app... Double Piquant - Johnnie Walker Double Black, Habanero shrub bitters, jalapenos, blackberries, fresh lemon, ginger beer. Azteca - Don Julio Reposado tequila, sherry wine, fresh cilantro, lime juice, agave syrup, jalapeno
  17. Same criteria here, we probably do not break-even on the upgrade, but we do value the lack of a need to keep signing for things...
  18. When we had a low occupancy on Silhouette last year it felt like they also had reduced staff and open venues so the service levels were not great despite fewer passengers, hopefully that is no longer the case.
  19. I'm still in awe of your ability to do as much as you do while cruising, never doubt that it is very much appreciated, the occasional typo is just a bonus. I got excited for a moment that it might have made a return, but apparently the contract for 'Le Petit Chef' is solid and unlikely to be changed any time soon, or so we were told a few months ago. It isn't so bad on the 'S' class ships as you do still have Murano, but it feels like a mistake on the 'M' ships as it only leaves you with Tuscan sadly.
  20. I think that is now 'Le Petit Chef' at Silk Harvest though? I'd love it to be otherwise, but I think Silk Harvest is gone in all but name sadly.
  21. My personal favorite from this thread was... "We also were surprised to find that Anesthesia is the Retreat Manager." - Clearly a very relaxed individual 🙂 Don't start proof reading though the occasional typo just adds the the fun.
  22. We will be doing much the same on Eclipse in 4 weeks, not expecting any significant changes but will update here in there is anything to report...
  23. Looking forward to the 'tart' report, the lemon version is a regular afternoon habit for us as well...
  24. That's all the justification they need... There is no 'right' that is being infringed here, they don't have to offer any justification at all, it is the benefit they have decided to offer and it is clearly published as excluding the first day, so no misrepresentation there either...
