  1. I have recently bought a Pride Jazzy Carbon Chair. It folds and unfolds very easily. I think it is about 50 lbs and my husband is able to lift it into the car with no problems.
  2. I have been travelling with a wheelchair for the last couple of years. I always fill out the paperwork and have never heard back from Princess. I also have never had a problem boarding.
  3. Thanks I'll start watching for news in the spring.
  4. I just booked a cruise for January 2026 to take my grandchildren on. There was nothing mentioned when I booked as to whether this has a Marvel Day at Sea. Is this something that is decided closer to the sailing? My grandson would love this.
  5. We were on the Sky at the end of December. My son and his husband used our balcony to do a balcony dinner. It was their first cruise and we insisted they do this as we have done it on every cruise we have been on and never disappointed. They were very pleased with the service and the food. For the picture they had to buy the picture and then go to the person in the photo area to have the charge reversed. They changed the meal from surf and turf to just the steak and I believe this was the only change they made. It is well worth the money.
  6. I booked traditional dining for the entire cruise and my specialty dining is still there. It actually showed both dining so deleted the MDR reservation and all is well.
  7. There are accessible reserved class mini-suites. We were looking to upgrade our accessible balcony to an accessible mini-suite but the only ones available with the RC suits. We didn't want to pay what they were asking for them so we are staying in our balcony cabin.
  8. On the Sky Princess there were seats when entering from deck 7 and also from deck 6. We always sat on the upper level but if you want to be closer to the stage, there are quite a few handicap seating on the ends of the first few rows.
  9. The Crown Grill is showing as $63.00/person on the new app. I wonder if the 18% service charge is now included in this price or are they still charging it on top of it. Either way, we won't be booking it at this price.
  10. Since I was not allowed to bring a heating pad on board (which I use quite often for my back) I purchased a battery operated heating pad in belt form. It is charged with an USB cable and you were it like a back brace. The one I purchased also had a massager in it. Now I have it to use on future cruises as well. Came in very handy when we had to sit in the airport for 24 hours after our flight was delayed/cancelled.
  11. We never used it for drinks as DH would just go to the bar. We did use it for room service and always gave a couple of dollars cash as a tip.
  12. I was on the Sky recently and they had Diet Coke and Sprite Zero. The Sprite Zero is not on the delivery menu and not on most drink menus but we were still able to get it at the bars. I can't remember how we found out about it originally. I can't drink Diet Coke so it was a nice change from drinking just water. We would usually pick up a few cans at a time to take back to the cabin.
  13. Thanks everyone for sharing your experiences. We will be on our first NYE cruise this year and my son and son-in-law's first cruise ever. It looks like it will be a very good cruise and hopefully will get them hooked on cruising.
  14. My packages are not showing up, however, they are still on my travel summary.
  15. It isn't as easy as just changing to another blood thinner that does not require INR testing. I have kidney disease so I can only take Warfarin to avoid further damage to my kidneys. Also, it is very difficult for me to have blood work done (bad veins) so to have to go through this every 2 weeks would be very difficult. My doctor is fine with using the jab test kit, in fact, he was the one who suggested it.
  16. There is a self test kit available. I have my tests done at my pharmacy and she faxes them to my doctor. At this point it works fine but I might just decide to get the self tester and do my own cheques in the future.
  17. Thank you for your review. We are currently looking at booking a cruise to take our grandchildren on so this information is very helpful.
  18. Thanks. I guess I'll wait until we are on board.
  19. I checked my January 2025 cruise yesterday and it actually went down. Our TA had it refared and we saved close to $400.00 from our original price.
  20. I did check the app and it just shows the total cost not taking into account I have the plus package which includes the 1 device. I forgot to mention that I am Platinum so I pay 50% cost of the wifi. Thanks for your suggestion.
  21. Does anyone know how much it would cost for me to upgrade from 1 device to the multi device plan? Also, since we have the plus package, will both of us have to upgrade or can I just upgrade my plan?
  22. Last night i checked my app and all my dining reservations were gone. I logged out and back into the app and fortunately they were all back. I didn't want to have to start making reservations again as the choice of times are very limited this close to my cruise (December 30th).
  23. To do this I believe my son and son-in-law would have to be with us to use the internet. This will not work as they are not in our cabin.
  24. I have the plus plan for an upcoming cruise. Is it possible for me to upgrade my internet to a multi-device plan. My son and son-in-law will want the internet and if this is possible, I think it would be cheaper for them to pay us the difference in cost. Anyone know how much more this would cost and also is it possible for just me to upgrade or will my husband need to upgrade as well.
