  1. Hey guys I have been looking at this cruise. Wondering how cold it will be on the days from Bermuda to Portugal? If only it was a month later.....
  2. Hi I no longer see it on the site where I booked. You might try emailing them I have been corresponding about beverage packages at this address. service@open-sea.com Hope you can go Steve
  3. hello, Does anyone have a current wine list they could share? Specifically looking for zenith though am curious to see one from any ship. Thank you, Steve

  5. Hi awaflyboy Thanks for the info. I agree it’s not the type of cruise I would usually take but at this price it was worth rolling the dice. I too am looking forward to Corsica Ibiza. So now the planning begins. I will try to write a review when I get back. Maybe we should take this conversation to the roll call ? Have you gotten any documentation yet? I am curious if we can book beverage packages in advance. Take care, Steve
  6. anyone else going? I have had a hard time finding out info but will probably book tomorrow. What have we got to lose it’s only a week right ?
  7. Hello, Does anyone have info on Open Seas gay charter? Looking at Zenith (ex celebrity century?) September 29th. Comparisons maybe to the other charter companies? What would the demographics probably be like? One thing I liked is a 5 drink a day package with some water and non alcoholic drinks for about 37$ a day.
  8. Thanks Tony. I have not cruised a lot but the Adventure cruises have been my favorites.
  9. Adventure of the seas AOS. Has anyone been on Adventure since the refit? Did they change the steam or sauna? I don’t remember there being cabins right by the gym before so wondering how extensive the changes were. Also looks like Jesters is gone :( where is the late night party now ? Thanks for any info
  10. HI, Thank you for the info! I learned more than I hoped. Steve
  11. HI, I have done some research so yes I know if I did some more I could probably answer most of these. But time is running out :). I am going on the Sapphire 24 aug northbound run. I have never been on Princess before. On Celebrity and Holland I would not bring my own shampoo on Royal I would. Do I need to bring some? Is there a special deal for specialty restaurants on embarkation day? From what I could find the answer is no but I am hoping I am wrong. Wine packages are not offered on Alaska itns'. Again hoping I am wrong. Is the sanctuary open on embarkation day? Will they bring you a drink that first day or you need to go get it? I am guessing the weather will preclude the use of the sanctuary area all but the first day. Can any dinner reservations be made before boarding? Specialty or regular? From what I have found you cannot. Do they have a special deal where they will wash all that you cram in a bag? Is it only offered after a certain number of days? Is it a good idea to book all your dinner reservations as soon as you board? Obviously I don't have status does being in a min help with dinner reservations? Or you need a full suite to get preference? On X I found I could just see how the day went and always easily got a table for two if I wanted one. (I do enjoy sharing a table but sometimes its nice to have one for two). My experience on Hal was awful even with a reservation it took over 30 mins sometimes to be seated and this was with no preference on table size. I am traveling with a first time cruiser and I want her to have a good time. So while I don't want to plan every single minute I do want to have memorable dinners. Ideally I am hoping to get a good serving team the first night and stick with them. Thank for any answers or unsolicited advice... Steve
  12. Hi Joe, Hope you get there without any issues. We were hoping to leave Monday but we dont have our passports back. Hopefully no issues when we try to pick them up on Monday or we will have to meet you at the first stop. Steve
  13. Hello, Is everyone doing second seating? Booking late all we could get was select or late. BF does not like late and I was trying to decide if we should waitlist for the early. Any thoughts or are you guys all ready on vacation :) STeve
  14. Hey, Hope all you guys are still going? Just booked today and will need this vacation to relax from getting ready for it in under two weeks. If you have any info you found out/figured out and want to share I would love to hear it. looking forward to seeing you onboard, Steve and Jeff
  15. Hey, I am trying to decide between the adventure and the mariner TA. Both leave on the 21st. Assuming price was the same can I ask which one you would do and why? Thanks for any info, Steve
