Are you on a 7 day cruise, a journeys cruise? If the ship turn around has no delays you should be on board by 12-12:30. Bring some snacks to be safe. A journeys cruise check in times are not enforced, you show up when you want to. This could cause a longer delay checking in and boarding This is because there are so many diamonds and platinums on these cruises.

Used SAS for a round trip and was very satisfied with them. The distance is 28 miles. Plan 35-45 minutes, normal traffic.

No need to worry, the baggage handlers will have your cabin number and fill out your luggage tags. Don’t blame the PVP. They can’t do a thing to get you your cabin assignment.

We had our first clamshell in our third visit to HMC. Ours was next to the rental building. It was comfortable, kept us out of direct sun. Only drawback is the lounges take up too much space. Would consider another one this coming January.

The CVS pharmacy is on Biscayne Blvd and NE 8th St., just down from Bayside Marketplace. Between these two you should find what you need. Five minutes from here to the POM. The free trolly picks up on Biscayne Blvd in front of Bayside.

I would taxi or Uber to Brickell. Cost around $30.00 without tip. Then take a taxi or Uber to the port, around $12.00 or so. The taxi drivers will know where your ship is.docked. When you cross over the bridge to Dodge Island you will see the ships lined up. Brickell is a nice area. If you go to Bayside by train at night, be aware of your surroundings, Miami Beach is not for everyone. I think the shopping, restaurants, and art decor buildings are worth seeing.

We booked a Holland America cruise for January about 3 months ago. Sent in an OBC request about three weeks ago. Got approved a week later.

Back on board is usually on all Carnival cruises is 30 minutes before sailing. But always check the time due back on board when going ashore.

It’s been a few years since we flew into MIA. At that time there was a check in booth and bus pickup at the end of the luggage pickup area. Service was for day of cruise.

During the day you should have no issues. At night it’s a different story. No matter what time of day you travel by train in the Miami area, be aware of your surroundings

My first experience with HAL website and Navigator app. Both need a lot of fixing up. Starting with enlarging the text with bold print to readable size.

We have done the Miracle to Hawaii, journeys cruise March of 2022. Had a great time. There was an Hawaii group, two guys and two gals who taught hula lesions, and sang Hawaiian songs, very good.. Near the end of the cruise all the people who took lesions put on a show. The highlight show for us was Chuck Wagner.actor and singer of musicals. Great voice and was very entertaining. It was also a 50th anniversary cruise, but I thought it was a dud. Along with trivia, playlist shows it was a good cruise.

Thanks for your responses. We are veteran cruisers on Carnival. This is our first Holland America cruise. On the zCarnivsl board a few months ago Guest Admin was asking to not send any requests before 90 days of your cruise.

Guest services usually has a long line. We do the muster obligation right after we drop our carry on off in the cabin.

We have had good and not so good service. Mostly good. The bad was the text messages were not instantaneous. The rest of the features worked fine.

From my understanding, being platinum, your check time can be the last time offered, the last boarding group. You can arrive anytime you wish, enter the terminal and go through the priority line for Ds& Ps. We have arrived a few times after our check in time and went through the priority line. Carnival will cancel this procedure when there are too many Diamonds and Platinums on a cruise. Then you just get on one line. This has happened to us twice.
