Cool Cruiser

Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. Uber will cost 12-15 with a direct ride to the terminal. Shuttles wait till they are full and stop at multiple piers dropping off.
  2. Just get a rideshare. Taxis are hard to find now due to rideahare. don’t take a shuttle. You stop at multiple ports and it’s always more expensive
  3. Traveling with a 1year old and 2 year old. Is it reasonable to make it to the beach with everyone? also how does transportation work with kids? Really don’t want to be lugging a car seat around with us all day?
  4. I would email them and ask. It took 4 days for my confirmation.
  5. Hello we are sailing next April of 2025. 20 years ago I sailed and it’s showing that I’m silver castaway club level. I’m excited now that I have a eairler check in time and can book activities earlier. the issue I have is we are traveling with another couple and want to get experience things together. We both have kids with us as well. We obviously will link our reservations together but have questions how to plan out the activities together if my window opens before them. it’s been long time for me on this particular cruise line and need some help figuring it all out. Thank in advance
  6. If you arrive after 11am you most likely will walk right into the ship. Unless coast guard inspection then prob closer to 12pm i think some are still held up on covid rules or one bad experience in the past.
  7. We have always went to grills next to the port and watched from there as they sail in. Parking right next to the restaurant as well. Picture below
  8. We stayed here this past October and enjoyed our stay other than the fire alarm going off at 3am. I just wish I knew about this prior to the last trip.
  9. Update. I chatted with Hyatt and was able to get my room added to my account. So I can see my room on Hyatt’s website and shows the price I was given. Happy that I’m saving 150 plus
  10. Has anyone used value trips to book the Hyatt in Fort Lauderdale. I submitted the form on Saturday and got the confirmation email this morning. is this legit? It’s 136 with tax vs booking with Hyatt direct was 290 thanks in advance
  11. It’s not that hard to find food on the island. Everything is clearly marked. Also the trams are not small. They fit a good amount of people
