Hello from Aruba. Oh its HOT HOT HOT! We had day passes for Renaissance Island. We docked at the pier behind the regular pier, the old container terminal. where the old control tower is. There were shuttles to take you to the port entrance. Never ever docked at this pier in my ten thousand times before. Was told that now if there are two ships, one will be docked here. Pictures to follow.

That's what I thought too. Till it was clarified and resolved. It's nice that you get some benefits. In my opinion, there are no benefits that match up to Royal's C n A benefits such as the 5 drink vouchers loaded to sea pass, the d lounge, the balcony discounts, and some other small stuff. Plus the casino people tell me that Royal's Club Royale has far more benefits and easier to get to tiers than Celebrity's Blue Chip. Celebrity elite drinks can only be used bw 5 and 7 pm. Drink list is pathetic even to a teetotaler like me. Lounge is not dedicated like Royal c n a or diamond lounge. I am not complaining but any means. I am only trying to explain different benefits.

No. Celebrity's equivalent is called a "one category upgrade". Which does mean that you book ocean view and get upgrade to a Balcony. It means that if you book, for example, a Balcony 2 category, you get a Balcony 1. The upgrade is a cabin within the same category you book that is within Ocean view or within Balcony. You cannot book ocean view to get the Balcony. You book a lower Balcony and get a one up from that Balcony you booked. ....within the general category of Balcony cabins. Have I confused you enough?😊

As Maryann (Helen) said, the Edge class has more options in specialty dining than the Equinox which is an S class ship. When we go on the Beyond, we are planning on getting a dining Pkg. I definitely want to go to Eden, Le Voyage and Raw on 5 and will look out for sales. On the S class, specialty dining is modest. We are in Aqua class this time, so eating at Blue.
