1. Too late to tell her anything- she left and is on the ship since yesterday- She has no internet. My goal is to contact somebody currently on the sailing to "show her the ropes" so she can be sure to have all the perks she is entitled to. She doesn't have e-mail access. Any way to contact the onboard studio lounge concierge?

Send her a text message. It only cost her 50cents to receive while on the ship.

  2. Maybe I should stop cruising with NCL because they have NO cruises departing from any place in the country I live in (Norway), even when they still call themselves Norwegian Cruise Line...??? Of course not! The longest flight (including time at airports between different flights) I have done to do a NCL cruise was 36 hours was for an Hawaiian cruise - and I was not complaining....!!!

So do I feel sorry for you if NCL leaving Texas means that you have to travel to a different state if you want to cruise with them in the future? Not really....

  3.
Were you able to have the service charge removed? We just booked our holiday cruise for next month. Our agency didn't tell us about this service charge. The wife noted it in the paperwork we were emailed after paying. This is the page that comes up in google and looks like we can have it removed. There are 4 of us and we did not budget so much for gratuities. Thank you.
Thank-you for resurrecting a 3 yr old thread about the daily service charge. We never seen one about this before.:)
