Basil Drop Martini!

I cruised on Triumph last year out of Texas for Spring Break. My kids are 3 and 7, Texas is our home port so many schools and colleges on Spring Break. We had a blast! The kids did a couple activities in the kids club, we hung out at the pool mostly, did shuffle board, mini golf, arcade, art gallery and shows (artsy family) just explored. We saw some people having a good time for sure but nothing inappropriate (and we're pretty conservative). Go and have a great time! I did Chefs Table for the first time and it was fabulous!

We sailed on the Sunshine when our girl was 1 and they gave us a rolling crib, not a pack and play. We've sailed with our two since they were 11 months and they love it!

You guys might enjoy the Lamanai Ruins excursion in Belize. You take like a 45 minute bus ride, then they take you up river to the ruins by boat. There is usually wildlife along the way. Monkey's, birds, occasional crocodile. Then you sepnd a good amount of time at the ruins. Then boat back down river to a buffet lunch, and bus back to the ship.
Something like this sounds perfect, thanks! Adding this to my research list.

We have done cave tubing and Goff's Caye in Belize. We did not have the kids with us. In March we will have the kids and will likely book a trip to Caye Caulker through Coral Breeze.
In Roatan we have done the Isand tour with zip line through island Marketing, the day pass at Bananarama, and also just stayed at Mahogany Bay. For our next cruise with the kids we booked the wild on Roatan wildlife tour through Island Marketing. Is includes the driver plus admision to the iguana farm, monkey hangout, etc and also goes you West Bay. Very good price.
Thanks for this info!! I'll look into other offers from these tour providers as well.

Thanks for the info! Has anyone done the ruins in Belize with kids this young? My son is fascinated with ruins and I think would really enjoy it...just seems like a long bus ride.

What tours would you suggest for a family with a 4 year old and 8 year old in Belize and Mahogany Bay? I've never cruised to these ports before. Our other stop is Cozumel which we've visited several times and are comfortable with. I'd love any suggestions! We enjoy tours and beach days equally. I'm fine with ship or local excursions as well. Thanks in advance!!

We've been several times and love it, like a corona commercial! They have great guacamole and food is good in general. Drinks and service are amazing! We usually pay $20 each way for taxi+tip.

I would choose Breeze in a heart beat, I haven't sailed on her but I want to!!
-
Best was pork belly at JiJi's, worst is eggs at the buffet [emoji40]

Bummer! Do you think one could get a basil drop martini anywhere on the Breeze?

Basil drop martini...it's amazing!

I am on weight watchers now for 5 months and have lost 30lbs. I initially was trying to lose for our March cruise but I'm sticking with it for the long term...love the plan! Im not on here often but love the Connect feature of WW online app! You should check it out.

I think my favorite meal on any ship, any venue has been JiJi. The short ribs were succulent!!

Great loss Cruiserman! I lost my 1 pound that I gained on our cruise last week so I'm happy with that and getting back into routine. I'm off with my kiddos for spring break, so struggling not to snack with them all day. Stay strong and have a great weekend everyone! Can't wait to see more island pics from shootr.

Beautiful pictures shootr!!!
Back from our mini vaca and only up 1 lb. I plan to lose it and a couple of its friends over the next week or so [emoji3]. Sounds like everyone is having a good week!!

Hello all! 179 this fine Thursday and we head out for our shortie 4 day cruise...can't complain and hope to stay on track!! Good job fellow losers [emoji3]!!
-
@Isabel Congrats on your upcoming wedding and loss so far! I'm loving the accountability and positivity of "Lose Before You Cruise" and also love the WW Connect Community on the WW app!

Awe, bummer about your lost post! Some alien out there is enjoying it [emoji16]. 182 today, so pretty happy with that. Even better though is my newfound energy since I started exercising about 4 weeks ago!! At first I was tired and sore, but now I'm finding I'm not just dragging after work every day. My kids are loving it too!! No more grumpy after work mommy [emoji3]!!

So I've decided to try weight watchers since it fits the eating changes I've already made and helps with accountability. I plan to continue doing what I'm doing but keep track with their app. Hope it's a good fit!

Hmmm, what would make me leave carnival? If they allow smoking in more places on the ship or if I had a terrible experience like the poop cruise I'd probably never come back. But that's just me! Also if it cost as much as RCI I'd probably choose RCI, so if value wasn't there.
