  1. Yes! Guest Services has that form if it is for tipping. Are you talking about the fact that you did not pay gratuities up-front? I believe that works too, but not the same form. We do extra tips from our OBC, but Celebrity has hanged the rules on gratuities...
  2. Which berth is Ascent cruising from on December 1st? I am on Beyond, so curious...thanks!
  3. We were in a Sunset Suite and SV, both on deck 11. However, for the TA, after dinner and walking by the aft elevator' suites, the creaking and cracking were just awful! Remember, we were crossing the Atlantic in November. In 11 days, we will be on her again and booked a suite close to the aft elevators on deck 10, but in the southern Caribbean...TBD.
  4. GP...Well, with all this excitement brewing, have a wonderful anniversary and enjoy every minute of the new ship experience and ambiance. Also, thank you so very much for documenting this for all of us to read, along with visuals. Here’s hoping you receive that MoveUp bid and the added excitement that goes with it! Life is short so seize the day!🥰
  5. Maybe...we have a 10:00 flight, but our cruise is on 12/1, returning 12/11. We’ll see how that pans out for the return. We do arrive two days early from the west coast due to two flights!
  6. I am a land/cruise combo person, so…it will be okay; I’m sure of it because all the rules keep changing. I have four more booked😜
  7. Well, the changes at Celerity led me to Oceania, but having to now pay for their excursions is leaving me open to many other cruise lines...TBD
  8. OMgosh, this is alarming. We were on Beyond in May for a b2b in a Sunset Suite. I got headaches, but when my DH and I returned home, we were both ill with sinus issues, not to mention just feeling unwell with visits to our doctor. Mine was so bad, that I was put on antibiotics. My DH is doing fine now, but I just had allergy tests due to being unwell since we have returned. My tests show mold as a cause. We are boarding Beyond in less than two weeks, in a Sky Suite on deck 10. Thank you so much for sharing this information, as I had no idea about the ship as a “possible” cause/issue. This will be on my radar now, as I have had to see an ENT who specializes in these issues. I am on a steroid at the moment. Of course, I am not going to just blame the ship, but if I do begin to feel unwell, will report it immediately and check the drains etc. Thank you!
  9. What a fabulous adventure, not to mention that this experience will be remembered forever. Your photos are perfectly captured and full of expression. Thanks for sharing all of this with us...
  10. Enjoy making all those memories and take lots of photos! Thanks for sharing and taking us along with you.👀
  11. I guess we will know when we know; maybe they will trickle out, maybe not. Anyway, happy cruise(s) booking!🔜
  12. Hmmm...we never did until our last cruise, a b2b and a new room attendant for the second part. He had trouble the entire cruise. Our first attendant tried working with him, as much as possible, but it was hit and miss. We had never experienced anything like this before and hopefully will not in the future. We sail Beyond again in a couple of weeks, but not a b2b. I don’t expect this to be an issue.
  13. You are right; it is horrible to read and very frustrating too. The, on the other hand, it is not surprising, as communication seems to be lacking in so many places...just a shame!
  14. Looks like your move over is going to be a great fit! Personally, I cannot wait for more photos and commentary yet to come!
  15. I have done that for two years, as they give you hardly any at all...bring on the veggies! At least we are seeing beautiful photos in Abu Dhabi!🕌
  16. I am regretting not being onboard for the first b2b, but there will be another time to make up for everything. It looks like you are having such an awesome time, even with the snafu’s that create more of your time to fix. I always say that details make the difference! Thanks for the photos of Muscat, as that is a place that I’ve never been. I have a friend who taught in Abu Dhabi; she loved it there, but now is in KL enjoying all the side trips. Those people who were upset about the cakes should not be able to have another piece due to their outbursts...”no cake for you!" Enjoy~
  17. Celebrity needs to spell out the fine print, but maybe waiting to see how much they can get before others in suites, Blu etc. start to complain. It seems like just a test like vaping was recently. Right now, the information is not available for the details. I cannot even get into any of my booked cruises, nor can I sign in either...
  18. Well, when we are able to board, there will be lots who share about the minor differences, not to mention those who feel the ship has a better fit for their needs. I would just request that some of the prices stabilize...even though I rarely drink Starbucks, their prices went up again!🤑 It seems like everyone is trying to find that sweet spot that customers will pay, at least at the moment. We certainly cannot take it with us because when we are going our currency has already been paid in full😉
  19. I certainly am...she was a master of E-class information🛳️
  20. I love all the excitement, but really, really miss all the nuts and bolts that one of our dear members used to provide. She was someone who shared such pertinent information with those of us who loved knowing about the details about brand new ships... I am also booked on here, but much later in the year.
  21. The Azore’s stop is always a hit or miss, but I did make it 2 out of four times, so 50%.
  22. Gotta LOL, as I read this as you get the leftovers...oh how my mind works sometimes!
  23. We book all single dinners, pay and select our time, as we like to eat early. Then, we usually ask if the restaurant is opening earlier and ask for a certain table if possible. Of course, that was when we had tons of OBC to spend onboard. Now, we may be seeing you in the buffet🙅‍♀️
  24. I totally agree and Europe with a TA is excellent! Also, my Capital One came up with a 2 per cent extra discount for all new cruises; not a lot, but every little bit counts when you send it to your TA.
  25. Good for you! I am going to wait for the TA and spend a lot more for a suite depending on itinerary and a few other things if I book. I was not able to put anything on hold, as it kept saying to try in a few more minutes...love it!
