Well I'm practically a preteen. So there!!:p

For me.... Best - Alligator Fritters! Could eat them as the meal!!!
Worst...Braised rabbit. Couldn't keep a bite down - LOL!

Husband wears a button down shirt with tie and dress slacks (his everyday work wear). I wear nice top and slacks... sometimes with a dressy soft jacket. I have to wear a suit every day to work so I have no interest in dressing up on a cruise, but I do it out of respect.
Also, I never wear shorts or beach attire in the DR no matter what day it is. Maybe I'm old fashioned, but you can put on capri pants and a decent looking top. I don't want to see anyone in a bathing suit at dinner... that's just me :)

I was mistaken about our entertainment from last night. It was Gangham Style last night and tonight was the Bollywood song Shake, Shake, Shake.
I REALLY love this dress. My birthday was originally going to be on elegant night until the itinerary switch.
Michelle and the gang sang happy birthday to me. When I blew out my candle, I wished for my second ice cream that was missing off my warm chocolate melting cake. lol
We've had Michelle before. She is wonderful!!! Looking forward to going back this month... with any luck we'll have her as our waiter. By the way, this has to be one of the best reviews I've ever seen! Great job!!

That's a good question. I'd like to know this as well (that's the reason I'm writing on your post.... to move it back up to the top so it will be seen).
Anyone out there that can answer this??
-
Well being a die hard UT fan, I'm not sure if I should answer your questions.... LOL!!! Just kidding!
Definitely get the FTTF. Dropping your bags off in your room and getting off the boat early is worth the price of admission alone (in my opinion). All the extras are bonus!!
Been on the Triumph many times... you'll enjoy it.
Can't comment on the excursions... been to so many it's hard to choose what I enjoyed more!
Wine - bring your own corkscrew and your porter can give you glasses use. Drink it in the room and there's no charge.
Have fun and goo Longhorns!!!:D

I have no offers... and that's after attending a Premiere cruise. Guess it's truly random :)
-
We did it and really it wasn't a big deal! Believe me, the water's so cold and it's so beautiful that the last thing you are thinking about are stranger's feet :)
-
I agree with Singer. You'll like the Freedom.
-
Definitely the Magic! So much more for the teenager to do.
-
Sorry to crash the thread, but where can you see these movies? Is it in-cabin, on deck? First Carnival cruise in 7 weeks, trying to accumulate as much info as possible!
On the Lido deck

LOL!!!! I'm sure you meant Autobots
TRANSFORMERS: AGE OF
EXTINCTION
A mechanic and his family join the Autobuttocks as
they are targeted by a bounty hunter from
another world
Starring Mark Wahlberg, Nicola Peltz

Great video! Very creative :)

I'm surprised the Ecstasy is still running! It's a pretty old ship. I wonder if they plan on retiring it soon.
-
it is a little larger than normal because it's a handicap modified cabin.
there are pictures of the room on cruise line rooms.com (remove the spaces of course)
Thank you Falcor! Really appreciate it!

Hello fellow cruisers!
We're trying a new cabin this time. Interior w/ exterior features (window, balcony right around the corner, etc).
Has anyone been in this cabin before. It seems like the room is a bit larger than the standard interior, or at least it looks that way on the plans.
Any info would be appreciated! Thank you!!

Yes. I just booked my FTTF and it was the 50 day marker. Maybe that's when they open new slots.... just guessing.
-
I bet if "Golds" could vote.......90% would rather have that $9 dollar ticket for a free drink at any bar on the ship; than go to a party.
That is a nice gift.
I'll take the drink. Keep the unappetizing canapés and watered down whatever that is served at the party :)
-
I agree with gopher... I'd go Magic. More geared towards teenagers with the waterworks. Very nice ship - and I love going to Belize and Isla Rotan! :)
-
How much do you guys put into the casino to get these offers?
A heck of a lot more that the $500.00 they give :).
-
I've never experienced it, but I can only imagine that Carnival will make sure that the excursion is available for you (it's their money on the line).
They did have to change a time on one of our excursions once, and we didn't have any issues.

The bathrooms are so small that when we first arrive and get luggage we hang the clothes in the bathroom and put the shower on hot. Are clothes come out wrinkle free and it only takes about 15 minutes to do them all.
-
Thank you all for the information. It was really helpful!! :)
-
I noticed I had one of those offers, as well. I was thinking of calling my PVP to see if he would know what the amount of casino cash is. I think the amount may be different for different people, based on their level of play. In a few weeks, they'll send out a card in the mail with the different cruises, and the amount shows on it; but, these cruises book up fast, so if you see one now you're interested in, book it, because it may be gone, or the price could have gone up by the time one receives the card in the mail....Happing cruising!
Thank you Urban. I should just call into the PVP and find out. I just hate to bother them (or get back on their radar :) ) They're persistent! :D
New Casino Offers - Premier and Ultra
in Carnival Cruise Lines

Does anyone know if they will offer other Ultra Premiere dates?
