Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. Tahitianbigkahuna hit the nail on the head! Our first trip we did the 10 day PG cruise only. It was magnificent. Ever since I've had the overwater bungalows we saw on a jet ski tour in Bora Bora etched in my mind. I could never get the colors of the blue water out of my head and it's been 12 years. We are going back in two weeks and we are staying post cruise in an overwater bungalow. Bora Bora's water and the bungalows have been in my dreams all this time.
  2. Can anyone who's been on the Maohi Nui snorkeling excursion tell me whether they go to an area where manta rays are or would I need to go with a different vendor for that? Would you recommend the ship's excursion with or without the lunch?
  3. Did you happen to go on the ship's snorkel excursion in Bora Bora? Did you hear anything about it from others?
  4. We have been on one previous PG cruise. We had the late arriving flight, 9:40 PM. We went from the airport to the bus awaiting us then on to the ship to check in. It was no issue; we were just happy to be there. For peace of mind, they have so many passengers on those flights, they will hold the ship if the flight arrives late. That said, we are going to arrive a few days early this time just because we can. We couldn't have extra days off when we were still working. If you can arrive early, why not? It would be a lovely bonus.
