2021 was a good year to book all those comps! We still have some booked for 2024 that we got in 2021. I told my DH after covid that this will not happen again. So we booked everything we could! Glad we did. Blue Chip offers are dwindling sin ce Celebrity is able to fill the ships.

Just trying to let others know since it is new to Holland. That's what Cruise Critic used to be about. Obviously not anymore from the rude replys.

It's a game show like the one that Howie Mandel did on TV. Other lines have replaced bingo with it. The Nieuw Statendam still had bingo too. You buy cards to play. $20 for 1, $30 for 2, and 3 cards for $40. The World Stage theater was pretty full with players. One person is pulled from audience to play on stage. When they pick a number of suitcase to open, you open your card to see if your number matches their number. Anyway everything is computerized and very easily controlled. The highest possible payoff for the player is $1000. The very highest payoff for audience players is also $1000 or a free cruise of Hollands choice. For our $40 investment to play we won a total of 3 $5.00 scratch tickets from which we won $5. The highest payout in the whole audience was a couple of $30 free play in casino. The highest pay to contestant was around $150. Almost everyone was playing 3 cards. The payout was probably less than $400 for the whole theater. What a take for Holland!

First ever Deal or No Deal on Nieuw Statendam this week. I have heard that this is the biggest cruise ship rip off ever. I now know that that is true.

Enjoying your review. Will be on Spirit in October. Years ago we used to walk to Plaza Resort. They had a bell at the gate and you ring it for service. You would pay $10 to $12 dollars for entry. It only included 1 drink and use of grounds. Had to pay extra for pool usage. The snorkeling from their area is some of the best on island. We would go snorkel there everything we were on island. Now we tend to rent golfcarts each time we are there.....Susan

Hi All....Back on dry land too! Stayed the same on this b2b. That's good but not too good in that I had gained before we got on. Next cruise on the 28th of this month. Just a few days to be good. We were on a Celebrity ship that waited about 4 hours for a single female in Barbados. Once they found out she was safe her belongings were unloaded to the dock.

Hi Izena and Belle.. I'm still at home. Getting ready for family coming tomorrow. Everyone at our house Saturday for lunch. Been baking so we all know how that goes😟. Hi Everyone... Hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving. We came home on Tuesday and had the family over for turkey day. Just now getting over that mad rush! Was up 3 pounds after our 18 days on ship😪. I was not surprised. Izena I thought I was doing good walking 1 mile per day on ship. I definitely need to up my game. Next cruise is New Years so I do have a few days to work on it. Now I just have to get started again. Jan we also are getting a lot of free offers. We can drive to ports so we book them all! Hopefully staying home more this summer. Sorry to be MIA! We have been at home but just busy. I have not done well with my Nutrisystem since return from last cruise. Have lost only 1.4 pounds since return in September. Not terrible except that we are sailing again Nov 3rd. This one is for 18 days and I am on my upper side of my cruise weight. Not good! I am still walking and will definitely have to continue on ship. Jan so glad you are so near completion of your treatments! Hope Belle is enjoying her long b2b Izena I need your determination! Hi Everyone! Crazy times. Our cruise outran Fiona. Jan we were at Grand Turk and the next couple of days later the dock was destroyed. Glad we did not have anything booked with Ian hitting. My DH got Covid on our cruise. I wore masks in casino due to cigarette smoke. I am testing negative. He is doing ok due to vaccines and boosters. Belle I did hit a Royal Flush in 3 card for $5 grand! Not bad on a comped cruise. Grandbaby had ear tubes placed and doing ok. Will see them again at Halloween. On the way home our engine blew in our car. I called the local small town Ford dealer and they sent a truck with a car for us to drive and picked ours up. He drove 2 hours to come get us and 2 hours back. Gotta love small towns. Thankfully we have the extended insurance and will pay for a new engine. Just had to wait in the heat for his arrival. Had a health scare and had to have a breast biopsy. Thank God it was a benign cyst. Jan my heart goes out to you for being so strong. When we got back I had gained 2 pounds. Next cruise is November 3. Nutrisystem here we go again. Later...Susan

I've had 2 different cruises where they took it off. They will cancel and immediately rebook. Kept the same rooms. One cruise I did not get it take off of because it was a b2b and there was a wait list for our room category. Did not want to risk loosing the same room on the last leg. The Bluechip rep said with a wait list she could not guarantee the same room on rebooking.

Last year we bought the internet for one day and I watched the SEC championship while sitting at the Martini bar. Too much fun! (We actually won that Al/Ga game) I think it cost 30 something dollars.

We did Equinox to Infinity in August. We had an advantage in that we had a a car in the parking lot across the street. Took 1st cruise suitcases to car and waited there for awhile. Then took 2nd cruise suitcase and got on Infinity. I'm not sure I would do it again even with a car there.

Hi guys...got a call from son to come help with baby. He was soo sick when we got there. Was supposed to have tubes in ears Friday. He had gotten another virus and had developed blisters in mouth and was not drinking due to pain. Surgery cancelled. Finally got him rehydrated and feeling well so we returned home today. Surgery rescheduled for Sept 26. We leave Monday for a 10 day cruise on Carnival. Will be back for surgery. Did not weigh due to not being home. Probably check it in am. 9 We've been on 14 Celebrity cruises since restart and have seen this a few times. Have never won anything and can't remember which ships we have seen it on.

It's usually a give away time. Win a bottle of "gents" cologne or "ladies" gifts. Never been kicked out of casino. Although I keep waiting for American Express to come and remove me from the tables!😁
