@Cruising-along pleased that your luggage has arrived and the Wine......... the wool is great for insulation. We had messages to do in town today, then had lunch before returning home. We were nearly finished our meal when a young couple walked in, he was wearing what I thought was a back pack. When we went to leave, discovered that the "back pack' was actually a cat carrier, the cat looked very similar to ours. They said they take the cat for "walks" in it everyday. Yesterday were out for lunch, again DH had a dozen fresh oysters......making the most of Oyster season. @RMLincoln good news from the Oncologist. Sorry about your SIL, hope she can be kept comfortable. @Haljo1935 Wishing your DH a very Happy Birthday. Clean up your pantry day, our pantry is compact compared to the big " Butlers" Pantry we had in our previous home that we had built for us, with a second dishwasher etc .

Good news. Did you get a good report for your foot pain?

@bennybear yesterday when I posted it was the 9th of April, our Anniversary is the 8th. Today is the 10th, now 1.10 pm.

@kazu Thanks for posting the locations of the Holland America Line fleet and the daily. @rafinmd thank you for posting the maps. @sevigny, We disembarked Noordam in Auckland the day you embarked. We had spent 30 days on board, 16 days Auckland to Sydney, 14 days back to Auckland. This was our first cruising since covid. We agree with most of your comments.We thought that the room stewards have far more rooms to service. We also were invited to the Mariner reception on both cruises, silver medallions presented, the 1000 day passengers were acknowledged and on the second cruise a presidents club passenger also acknowledged.. Waiters offered drinks, the orange juice was very diluted. There was no Mariner lunch after either reception. Re the soups, yes broth, then the "Flavouring" was added, one day we did get lots of Noodles added to the Chicken noodle soup. You mention the little treats in the Neptune Lounge, I too was disappointed with the selection available compared to pre covid, but appreciated the Pecans and Walnuts. There were none of the little chocolates that HAL used to have, only what appeared to be clumps of rice bubbles covered in chocolate ( like what children learn to make)! Not sure if you know that books are available to borrow from the Neptune Lounge, they live in the drawers behind the big table. Are there any leaks in the Neptune? We were surprised one morning to enter the lounge to be greeted with 6 (six) buckets placed to collect the water. There were a few leaks in hallways, towards the end of our second cruise a leak occurred in the hallway close to our room, leaks were always attended to promptly. Is Kristina still the Concierge? We had good waiters in the MDR and also at breakfast in the Pinnacle Grill. We noticed that with the cooked breakfasts the meal no longer had a decorative triangle of melon or some other fruit as pre- covid. Little things like that, we noticed. Hope that you enjoy the remainder of the cruise, we have done the Trans Pacific three times, love all the sea days.

Welcome home to the Dailyites returning from the beautiful Volendam. It was quite obvious that @grapau27 was away from home on a cruise.. @aliaschief thanks for sharing your super photos. We have been out to lunch today, at a restaurant where it's necesary to pre book a table. DH had a dozen raw oysters to celebrate Oyster Season. Our clocks turned back 1 hour Saturday night. Autumn is here.
