I was on the Magic the week of January 13th- 20th and the boat rocked the whole time. It was terrible. I have heard several complaints about the motion of this ship and I can conquer its terrible. There was one night where I thought we were going to turn over.
Hope it gets better for you!!

I think you can call Carnival to purchase Cheers and inform them about your wife's medical issues and then you can just purchase the package for yourself.

We purchased it as part of a package from the Fun Shop that also included 6 bottles of beer, 2 coozies, & a bottle opener when on the Sunshine. Since that ship didn't have refrigerators in all the rooms we got it to help keep beverages cold in our room. However the cooler did leak when the ice melted and we had to keep a towel underneath all the time. We never took it on another cruise after that :(. Just a heads up if you decide to order one.
Now this cooler only comes with 4 beers, bummer!! Guess it's better then none at all. Thanks for the heads up about the leakage.

Did you drive from the Baltimore, MD Area?

I sailed on the pride in January a few years ago and it was coldddddddd. WE had Muster outside and it was freezing. Not Sure if they are now doing this inside, but in case they are just make sure to be bundled up. The 2 days at sea were OK, just be prepared for crowded common areas on the ship. They certainly tried to have something to do all day, but personally I was quite bored and was tired of trivia and all in a few hours. Forget the hot tubs they were packed. I just don't understand how they do 2 sea days going down to florida and 1 sea day coming home. They can easily make this a 4 port trip. For us to travel it was a whole hour since we dont live far from the port, we took this out of convenience

My husband and I are scheduled for the Magen's Bay Beach and Skyride to Paradise Point Excursion through Carnival on Jan 13th on the Magic. I know after reading an article posted by Royal Caribbean that Magen's Bay was destroyed, does anybody know how the skyride faired? We're trying to decide if we want to just go ahead and cancel this excursion and book something else. We want to snorkel and after reading the article about the beach being destroyed and only a few building standing I'm not sure Megan's bay will be worth it. Any imput would be great!!
I'm also aware that things will change within 90 days. What are other options for snorkeling at St Thomas? Carnival has stated that all ships will be returning to normal itineraries beginning January.

It wasn't recently, but I went on this tour in 2010. It was good! The buggy is stick shift, so if you can't drive stick they won't let you drive. They also seat 4 people; so if it's just you and a friend/spouse you will ride with 2 other people. If you were unlucky like myself and husband you only got to drive for a short amount of time. The couple we were paired with refused to share the drive time. The tour took us snorkeling and to see a light house. My iPad won't let me attach the files for a few pictures

My kids are teenagers and had no interest in the Dr. Suess breakfast. Looked fun from the pictures I saw, though.
I'm 30 and must be uncool if teenagers had no interest. Lol

Did you do the Dr Suess Breakfast? It looks delicious and different
Do you recall how to sign up for it, do you do ahead of time before you board the ship or after you board?

Earlier today i noticed that 1 excursion was posted today. It's in our 4th and final port. It was posted miday and nothing else has been posted...
Maybe this is the start??????
Anyone else see any 2018 excursions posted?
