We prefer the Penthouse because the room is bigger and has a larger shower as well. Having a butler is great. Ours checked in with us at least once a day to see if we needed anything. We never requested dinner in our cabin, but he did get us several extra dining reservations.

I too took a flat iron and curling iron. They were unplugged and left out to cool and no one said a word about them not permitted on board.

Casual chic is all you need. No really "dressy" clothes or high heels needed at all. For the Terrace Cafe and Waves, you can even wear shorts.

The bottle doesn't have to go in your luggage. I drink a lot of water and have no problem carrying my water bottle in my hand. I like to have water to drink on the plane. NO need for your snide Koolaid remark.

We ordered martinis at the Captain's Party on Riviera in March. The waiter delivered it with no issue.

That's the issue we had on Riviera. There were plenty of chairs and MANY more on the sun deck above. The problem was finding a chair in the shade.

It is not dressy. Men don't need jackets. Just nice slacks and a shirt with sleeves. Women can wear nice slacks and a pretty top.

We requested the beds be separated as soon as we booked the cruise. We were told the nightstand couldn't be moved between the beds. I doubt my back would have been able to handle moving it myself . I had asked if a nightstand could be moved between the beds, but no dice. I think they are built into the wall. You still have your bed to yourself so no once will be stealing your covers, or rolling onto your side.

No, there is NO space between the beds. The nightstands are on either side of the beds.

They can make them up separately but they are still RIGHT NEXT to each other. No space in between.

If the Marina rehab is anything like the Riviera rehab, the PH bathrooms will have a very large, wonderful shower.

I usually travel with my sister and when we make our reservations, we ask for shared tables. On our cruise on Riviera last March we were only seated with other people two times out of seven reservations.

I don't know the exact answer, but if my butler or cabin steward goes above and beyond and I give them a tip for that, I want it to go directly to them.

We did not book a specialty restaurant for our first night, but were easily able to get a reservation at the Reservations desk after we boarded.

You can book without air, but there is no true cruise only option with Simply More.

I suggest you call Oceania and get the information from them directly.

Last March we also docked at Amber Cove when Puerto Plata was listed. They said the weather and rough water is what caused the change in the docking location.

We too got an extra specialty reservation on embarkation day. Just go to the desk and ask. You can also ask the maître d' at any of the restaurants for more reservations.

There are no formal nights on Oceania.

I know several people who have brought hard alcohol aboard O ships. I never saw them question anyone about it when boarding.

I don't know that it will ever "be history". It seems to be around for good.

When we sailed in March, we had no problem getting an IPad. They aren't actually IPads, but Windows tablets . I just went down to the customer service desk and asked for one. They charged it and our butler connected it to the wifi.

We had chateaubriand in the MDR the last night of the cruise. It was wonderful!
