  1. We have had this discussion. We were quoted a higher price then you. So no, in our experience, the taxi was much higher than the ferry. People should know there is more than one option. Quite a few YouTube videos and online travel blogs agree with me.
  2. Both are vision class. I'd go with the itinerary that has Roatan, Belize, Costa Maya and Cozumel. I'd also get an aft JS on Vision it's 8588.
  3. If this is put together in a way that is more like MSC Ocean cay and not CocoCay, I would actually go. If price was right. We have been to Cozumel many times over 25 years via cruise and land vacations and have been a little disappointed lately in some things (taxis and gas stations) so just paying a reasonable rate and hanging for the day may be fun. If it's near a reef and they don't have rules of snorkeling vests and no independent snorkeling, I'm there.
  4. I think they are kind of big or at least I remember reading in on the cc forum. Make sure you have room in suitcase to bring home. I asked our room attendant for an extra blanket and sat on balcony at Day 2 on our cruise watching the small boat go out to the glacier in May 2022. I think it was our only semi cold day as we had a beautiful week with no rain and we were all wearing shorts.
  5. I pulled this off a search. The Royal Beach Club Cozumel will feature swim-up bars, relaxation and family pools, restaurant with bar and lounge, private cabanas, street market, snorkeling, kayaking, hands-on experiences like tequila tastings and cooking classes, and more. More details about Royal Beach Club Cozumel will be revealed in the coming months. Royal Caribbean Beach Club Paradise Island opens in 2025. The new Antigua Beach Club development will take place on a beachfront area near Fort James that is around half a mile long. Supposed to start construction end of 2024.
  6. We are actually going to be there April 9th. If no one responds, I would be more then happy to share the location.

Just a suggestion. Get the metal hooks from Amazon. Wash bathing suit in shower with you and wring out. Dry yourself off. Place bathing suit in used towel and roll up as if making a stromboli or crescent roll. Walk on top of rolled up towel to get rid of excess water. let it dry in towel as you do post bath routine. Then unroll and place on metallic hook that is on the ceiling (not the wall). Will be dry by the morning. We have done this for our gym clothes and our bathing suits for 2 years of cruises. Works better than a clothesline.
  8. Shoreexcursioneer.com used to offer a combo of this. We actually really liked it. We were in Juneau 9a to 9p. In the morning we made our way on our own to Mendenhall and explored the area. Then we went back to the port. We met up with our excursion at I believe 1 or 2pm. They first took us to whale watching then over to the salmon bake. I was a little disappointed with the whale watching because I had thought naively that the boat was close to the whales. I truthfully didn't realize a distance has to be maintained in the US. In the canary Islands, the boats are literally next to the whales. Still was pretty good. The whole excursion was 5 hours.
  9. Thank you. Can you elaborate a little more?
  10. Yes. I actually just did it for a flight to New Orleans from Philadelphia.
  11. You actually answered a post from a year ago?
  12. We once put ours in the hallway for the cruise when we were in our cabin for the night the entire cruise. No, I don't recommend this even though the speed was fantastic. My husband did it. I was the worrywart saying I don't think this is a good idea. We also did what you have here for adjoining cabins on Carnival.
  13. I don't like either as they both affect me. Perfume more so as people usually smoke outside and I don't really notice it as much as it seems as if more people vape nowadays.
  14. I have to laugh sometimes reading these posts commenting about this loyalty perk or that. I'm going on a 13 day Sydney to Tahiti cruise on NCL in 8 days and this unfortunately is only our 2nd cruise with NCL so we are in an inside with no loyalty perks. We do have the drink package, but oh how I would love the priority tender and the laundry!
  15. Yes. Read what I posted. Both are annoying. One definitely more hazardous then the other.
  16. And I'm sure no one checked or cared. It's a small tour.
  17. They are both annoying. One definitely more hazardous then the other.
