  1. Hi Everyone:

We are sailing on the Enchanted Princess on November 05, 2022 out of Brooklyn. We always enjoy seeing Lady Liberty as we sail away. Can anyone with

experience tell me which side the Statue would be on when leaving Brooklyn Terminal?  Should we choose a balcony on port or starboard side? Thank you all for any assistance.

I haven't done it on Princess, but I'd suggest submitting your requests on different days in case it's not technically allowed.  There might be a better chance of it slipping through if they don't see both side by side.

    Thank you for your reply.

  3. When we last sailed in July 2022 there was no charge for printing. Yes the internet room is needed not only for being able to print documents but for the Internet Manager. He or she has to help so many people with problems trying to get there devices on line. Also, I like the desktop computers as they are so much faster for typing emails then trying to type them on my phone.

  4. Does anyone have experience with this? We are wondering if you can get shareholder credit on two rooms. My DH and I have separate rooms on an April cruise and we were wondering if we could each individually get the credit. The shares are in our joint names.

Dear Princess, as a loyal customer and one currently booked on the Caribbean Princess for January 2023, I have become concerned about the ongoing vacuum system and I don't mean the one used for the carpet.  I would like to offer a suggestion that I hope won't be thought of as a "waste" of time.  I believe room stewards should be trained to look for items in each cabin that many people believe are flushable but are not; if they find them, a note should be left in the room advising the occupant not to flush the items and the penalty that can be assessed (see below).  If the room steward notices, as the cruise goes on, that some of these items are missing but have not been placed in the trash receptacles, the room steward should activate the new "flushing surveillance systems" or "FSS".  By placing hidden numbered balls (cabin number) in the cabin toilet that activate each time the toilet is flushed, should a stoppage occur the ball will be located at the stoppage, traced back to the cabin and that cabin assessed with a flushing penalty, also know as the NoPePo penalty.  A monetary fine of $500.00 is assessed to the cabin and once collected, is to be split equally among all occupied cabins affected by the stoppage.  Also, a sign should be hung on their cabin door advising that the cabin occupants are NoPePo violators.  Once word spreads throughout a ship that the NoPePo penalty is being enforced, I believe the waste issue may resolve itself.

Thanks, and no charge for this idea.  Feel free to patent this system for Princess.

    A very clever idea 👍

I have to report that the Ask Ocean Medallion people are getting much better at responding in a timely manner. Emailed them 3 hrs ago about my issue, and they’ve already responded. Unfortunately they can’t fix my husband’s loyalty status, but it’s already been referred to the higher tier tech team. 🤞

Can I ask which email you used to contact Ocean Medallion? I have had no luck getting a reply.

    Thank you.

  7. My app still shows full price for Medallion Net. I have called, emailed, and chatted with no results.

Also, since my upcoming cruise has disappeared from the app I cannot at this point do anything such as pick out an arrival time (which I already know I don't need to do) cannot fill in health information etc.

I also called on this and emailed customer relations and still nothing.  I give up. I am just printing out my travel summary and bringing necessary paperwork, and covid cards to the port with me.

Will call Princess direct to buy Medallion Net at full price and then go to CS when on board to make sure my 50% off has been credited to my account as refundable credit.

I also sent an email to the head of customer relations two weeks ago and have heard absolutely nothing.

That’s great.  Thanks for telling us.

Guess I spoke too soon today that cruise disappeared again. I will let you know if it reappears. Maybe this is happening because they are trying to correct the Medallion Net pricing? Wouldn’t be surprised of anything at this point.

At this point, do everything on the website for your checkin, including DMW if it’s not already in there.
There have been a few that have reported this recently, probably due to the changes they have made on the App. They fix one bug and then it causes another.  IDK when this will be fixed.

Sometimes it does reappear. I’ve not seen that as the case lately, though.

If yours does reappear, let us know.

I still would report it, either call in and talk to the Medallion App team, theres an option to do that, or a call back feature.

Or, email them with your name, dob, ship and sail date and booking no. to:

    askoceanmedallion@carnival.com

Well I was getting ready to call Princess this morning when low and behold the missing upcoming cruise reappeared on our Medallion app and still showed the green lane. So now if we can only get them to fix the medallion net pricing it would be great.

Thank you everyone for your response.
