First time in London and first time cruising from Southampton. Looking for suggestions on how to get to the cruise port from a London hotel.

Does anyone know if we could make an 11:00 AM flight after disembarkation in Bari, Italy?
We have never been to Bari or Italy and have not sailed on MSC before.
Thanks for any advise anyone has.

Does anyone know, if by chance, the service desk sells stamps for the various countries a cruise visits?

We have cruised to Alaska 5 times so know a little about it.
In Skagway the Chillkoot Bus and Rail tour is great. You really don't need to ride the train both directions. If you like to hike and don't want to ride the train, Skagway has great hiking trails from easy to more difficult. Park visitor's center in town has maps and can make suggestions for the type of hike you might want to do.
In Juneau you can take the bus to and from the Mendenhal Glacier. There is an easy walk to the glacier mostly flat the whole way. If it is a nice day when you get to Juneau you can take the Mt. Roberts tram, great views and hikes at the top. Don't buy the tickets ahead of time because it's not worth going up if its raining.
If you can spend extra time in Seward the Kenai Fjords National park Cruise is wonderful. We saw more whales there ( at least 3 different kinds), than anywhere else. Also other sea life and birds and of course glaciers. Easy hiking in Seward is the Exit Glacier hike. There is also a path along the water in town if you want a stroll.
We tend not to purchase the ships excursions. These are things we have done mostly on our own. Alaska is amazing. Enjoy your trip.

We live in Bellevue and will be cruising to Alaska For the 6th summer in a row this July. In my opinion there is nothing more beautiful. When you are ready to go to Alaska I would suggest picking a ship that goes to Glacier Bay, Hubbard Glacier and or College Fjord. They are incredible places.
The round trip Hawaii from LA or San Fran are nice as are Mexico cruises. We will often do one of these as we don't like long flights.
When you are older consider the Panama Canal. Flights work out best if you go eastbound through the Panama Canal.
Enjoy!

Did the Panama Canal trip, LA to Florida in December. We were on the ship for Christmas and New Year's Eve. Everything was just fine. Loved the ship and the cruise. The captain is the most personable we have experienced.

For those of you who have cruised on Christmas, do you give anything to or do anything special for your room steward and wait staff on Christmas Day?

Sorry you have not gotten the 20% FCC. I was on the January 4th sailing and although it happened at about 1:00 am we were awaken by an announcement in the cabin first calling security personnel. Then received, I think, 3 more announcements throughout the night keeping us informed and providing some direction if we needed to move about the ship. It was a very disturbing and sad event. The captain was very good about keeping us informed throughout the search. I think Princess made the best of a bad situation on this cruise and I do appreciate the FCC. I hope they come through for you as well.

I think the buffets should have a built in holder to place the serving utensils in after getting food rather than everyone just putting the serving spoon where ever it lands. I have seen a plate in front of the food to put the serving spoon on but too many people don't use it. If there was a specific place for the serving spoon passengers could be educated about using it as we have been about the hand sanitizer.
I have also wondered, but haven't asked, if the dining room menus are cleaned after be handled by passengers.

It was great last year during the same time frame!

I think the Pan Pacific Hotel is at the cruise terminal.
