  1. Me too. I never go. So it wouldn’t bother me to have an up charge. I’m even okay with charging for specialty lunch menus to avoid the buffet. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
  2. Wow! I’ve never paid close enough attention to those codes. I mean, I pay attention to the charges to ensure they are accurate, but That was impressive. Sent from my iPhone using Forums

  4. I agree. In fact, I was disappointed Princes didn’t do that to begin with. We rebooked for next year at a much higher rate. Waiting to get the credit from the cancelled booking to apply to that cruise for next year, but I was secretly hoping they would at some point do that for those of us who rebooked. We may not cruise next year if the fare stays as it is. We have two other cruises booked as well that we hope will happen but they are this year, so who knows
  5. That would have been great! However the logistics of that could be a nightmare as cabins may already be booked for 2021, itineraries change, Ships change, people don’t want to cruise in 2021... the list goes on. That said, I would have enjoyed your recommendation as an option.
  6. I don’t recall every trying that one, but if I can find someone to do a Quantum of Solace maybe I’ll try a Skyfall during my next cruise Sent from my iPhone using Forums
  7. Quantum of Solace from Crooners, but it’s no longer on the menu. It must be a bartender who knew the old menu and knows how to charge it.
  8. Your PVP couldn’t book it for you either? I have had the same issue you are having and booked with PVP directly but then cleared my history and was able to get to final pricing.
  9. You didn’t quote me, but I have first hand experience with a bar tender being sick and not taking time off, they aren’t allowed to really, they get in trouble. I can’t speak to loss of wages, it wasn’t discussed. I’ve seen it happen more than once, on different cruises. On my last cruise a bar tender was hacking and coughing and I caught whatever it was. We said it could very well have been Covid, but I don’t know. It’s the first time I’ve caught “a cold” from someone on a cruise, but the fear of calling in sick happens. No way their supervisor didn’t realize they were sick on the three experiences I’ve seen. So it’s a corporate culture that perpetuates this.
  10. Are you asking about the Pacific Northwest Coast cruise on the Star, out of SF, on September 20? That one appears to be the first scheduled cruise on the Star after the pause in operations. Whether or not it will sail is another question. We plan to go on the September 27th cruise if cruising is allowed by final payment.
  11. I hear ya, if we knew what was happening it would be so So much easier
  12. So do you think you will roll the dice and wait, or cancel and book something else?
  13. Well, if cruising isn’t happening in January, what other options will be available? We have a September and December cruise booked. I don’t think September is happening and I won’t go as far as to make final payment unless things are moving along with cruising. Their repayment process is way too slow and I’m really hopeful that the December cruise happens. I may roll the dice on final payment for the December cruise even if cruising hasn’t resumed by final payment., but I’m not sure cruise lines will survive this. So maybe not. I’d leave It for now if you want to go. Make a decision before final payment
  14. I didn’t cancel any of our excursions, prepaid specialty dining or chocolate covered strawberries. PVP said it would all be refunded. I did print my travel summary and am patiently waiting for all funds to be refunded. I don’t need them refunded, they could have been moved to another booking, but PVP said that’s how they are doing it.
