  1. We had a really nice day. As the day went on the ferry's started coming a little later and later each time. The 12:30 actually left a little early and the 1:00 ferry got there at 1:20 so we took the 2:00pm ferry which came at 2:20 and got us back to the port by 2:50. It was very full- standing room only and we were the only ship in port. There was a reef that some people were trying to snorkel around but I thought the water was too cloudy and murky. We found the bathroom but never found showers. The loungers turned over pretty quickly as people didn't stay long. Quite a few only stayed for one ferry. They were the most uncomfortable sun beds ever. Just flat hard plastic.

  2. When eating dinner in the Manhattan room- do people get up and dance in between courses? What type of attire are people wearing for dinner there?

Yes to dancing. It's lovely. The freestyle daily says that long pants for men are only required in Le Bistro and ocean blue after 5. Most are wearing resort casual. Shorts and collared shirts. Capris or skirts for ladies. I did see a family taking pictures in tuxedos and formal dresses one night. Totally the exception.

  3. So we took an 8:30 am ferry direct to Anse Mitan because we just missed the 8:15am to Pointe du Bout. Maybe about only 10 passengers from the ship were with us. Sitting on our chairs on the beach at 9:00. Glad we came directly here because there are very few lounge chairs available to rent to people not staying at the hotel. The palapas are only for hotel guests so we took two flat loungers in front of the restaurant because the sun is behind us. $7 US each. Toilets and showers available at the hotel. Restaurant has a beautiful European breakfast buffet laid out in a very simple looking open air beach bar setting. Really lovely but I can see this getting crowded. I'll report more at the end of the day. I'm trying but I can't post pictures. I'll try when I get back on the ship.

  4. Can you let me know about internet pricing? I am trying to decide to buy a package on line, or should I wait till I am on board? What are the prices for internet on board and options? In particular , is there the option of 250 minutes, and also, what is the cost for unlimited. Thank you so much.

$24.99 per day for unlimited but you have to buy the whole cruise by 10pm on the second night. I'll take a picture of the price sheet when we get back on board. Sitting on a beach in Barbados today.

  5. No, not yet. I thought they were going to start working on it today because the Freestyle Daily says the children's pool is closed today, but it actually wasn't. There aren't that many kids on the ship that they couldn't allow the kids to go to the main pool. If there are 10 kids in the children's pool at once, that's an over estimation. Usually, we are the only people in it. But it's SO salty that my daughter wants nothing to do with it. She'd rather spend her time in the Haven pool.

Characters mysteriously disappeared last night. They are probably now really in Bikini Bottom!

  6. Unlimited internet is $24.99 per day. You can only have one device logged in at a time, but it has been working great. I have been streaming music all night long for the entire cruise so far.

You have to buy the unlimited by 10pm on the second night. Monday for us. We thought about it but we got 1000 mg as one of the promos and it is day 8 and I've only used 300 mg because we are in port. We tried to get credit for the 1000 (value $125) but they said no. You have to pay in full for the unlimited.

  7. I haven't had any issues with the app except for a few hours one morning. I have only tried calling other phonest thathe have the app and it worked fine. If you call home or office the ship from your stateroom phone, the fee is $4.99 per minute charged to your stateroom.

Funny. We had trouble with the app for phoning home. Our niece had a baby last Monday and we tried many times to call them and make a few other calls to congratulate family and we could hear them but they couldn't hear us. We went to guest services and they refunded us all the charges for all the connect time and even the $7.95 to connect to the service. So you really have no downside. If it doesn't work they will refund you. I wouldn't rely on it though. Download the imo app and make calls through the wifi. That seems to work.

  8. Not bad. We have our own equipment but I think it was $15 to rent. Not much to see right near the beach but you had to go out near the rocks on the right or over past the piers on the left. You need fins to get over there unless you are a very strong swimmer.

  9. Forgot to say. $10 pp cab each way. Driver coming back for us at 3:30 and he is going to take us to paradise point to take the cable car down. $10 per chair and umbrella. There are only 3 umbrellas available. but there are trees and natural shade. We were the first people in the dive shop when it opened at 9am so we snagged an umbrella.
