Cool Cruiser

Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. A single ticket for Mega Millions $1.13 Billion prize was sold in NJ - can you imagine? That cruise fare would be "nothing" to them! (and no, I didn't win)
  2. At some vacation club resorts that we go to in popular spots (Aruba, Marco Island, Singer Island and others), security will flop the backrest of the chair forward and on their next pass of the area will remove the items by placing them in a see-through bag and bring them to the front desk. This has helped ease the hogs a bit and it's slightly entertaining to watch said hogs return to other guests occupying "their" chairs. It is frustrating to see prime spots be unused for hours on end-maybe Regent could try something similar ( photograph all items on chairs and placed in bag so no shenanigans of "someone stole my Piaget".
  3. Pies4u-thank you! I think you are correct...that name sounds familiar!
  4. I don't know! I guess i forgot the name of the lounge that's at the bow, It was 2008 so I am obviously misremembering the correct name. Oppsie!
  5. Hi Crisy! So sorry to hear you are sea-sick. FWIW, when I was on the Baltic cruise I was sea sick as well. A fellow passenger gave me ginger PILLS and it worked wonders for me! Literally within 45 minutes I was up and about and made to the Horizon Lounge to watch the waves crashing over the bow...if I recall they were capsules with real ginger powder. Not sure if they are available on board, but they really helped me and they had no side affects. I hope you feel better soon-I am really enjoying your pix and posts.
  6. Gray Lady-your DH's health curve ball is disheartening to hear. The collective power of prayer sent to your DH from all sources can work wonders... I wish him fast healing, and comfort to those who are on the journey with him. As I read your post, the sentence I bolded and italicized reminded me of short series I watched on Netflix that spoke to your comment. It's called "All The Light We Cannot See" starring Hugh Laurie. It echoes your sentiment and I hope you and your DH can watch Hugh's magic unfold together. God Bless.
  7. Is the garland wraps on the stairs and railings real or plastic? I was on the Navigator Christmas cruise in '08 and I may be mis-remembering that the greens where real. The decorations where mind blowing and I recall they went up overnight. I might be romanticizing my memory so there is that...
  8. What are you saying? It already happened? Why in tarnation did they promote this "THE" christening?
  9. CDR Benson-I adore your writing style!
  10. At the caliber that Regent portrays itself, these port cancellations take away the reason most people chose this line-for the itineraries. If the ports are removed at will, why chose this caliber of cruise line?
  11. Maybe Regent should look into being the new "cruise to nowhere" line...

  13. Yikes! Wait until you read the winners of 2023 U.S. Editors' Picks Awards: Best Cruise Lines by Cruise Critic. Regent only "won" one category: for Best Itineraries... https://www.cruisecritic.com/editors-picks/luxury/
  14. Off topic but your gif that matches your username is absolutely hilarious !!
  15. Holy mackerel! That is a WOW moment for me! I wonder if they stuff it into suitcases?!
