  1. Since I'm not using an APP is this set sail pass online when I log into RCL?
  2. My problem is worse, I bought a $500 certificate and the charge went through but the certificate was never loaded. AARP has major issue's with gift cards. Read their community blogs on their web site for yourself.
  3. I always take my full sized suitcase with me. Sometimes the porters /room steward don't get your luggage to your cabin until after dinner which doesn't work well for me.
  4. I have several magnets always in my suitcase. I use one per excursion and line them up in order by the door. I also keep the first patter on the wall with all the ports listed and the time frames in port. I use both flat magnets and ones that are clips to hold papers. Love this trick.
  5. After reading about the increase I called yesterday and added the one device and PAID for it at the current rate of $7.50 PP. The payment shows up in the new tab labeled extras in my personalizer.
  6. I did my stock credit this week without any phones or app. Email SBPCL@Princesscruises.com and they will tell you to scan a copy of your latest statement and give your name, date of sailing and booking number. They said next month they will roll out a web version for getting the stock OBC.
  7. NEVER! I have never had a second of stress over their app having never used it.
  8. What's good coffee for some is horrid for others. I dislike Lavazza and hate Starbucks. I like the coffee on board in the MDR or Buffet after I add an ounce of hot water to it.
  9. These are suggested, you can decrease the amount at guest services which I do.
  10. Ihere was a zero balance. Carnival buyers are complaining on the AARP community board about not receiving their cards at all. Once you get the card via email go to the cruise site and do a balance inquiry.
  11. Gift cards are not future cruse deposits. They are like any gift card you buy at various venues.
  12. I bought a $500 gift card on AARP and it wasn't loaded. It's been almost two months of frustration with AARP and still no resolution. I finally had to dispute on my credit card. If you buy ant gift cards from any merchant on AARP check immediately to see if was loaded. They had a lot of issue's with Macy's card last year.

  14. It's none of our business where the tip goes, no one knows if it goes into the fleet wide pool or not. Do you have the premium alcohol package because if not you will pay $5 for room service when adding those extra items. The items on the card are included in your fare at no extra charge.

  17. I love those window suites. The location is absolutely perfect and you get to use the thermal suite which I adore.
  18. Room service is not included in a full suite or any other cabin. If you have the expensive alcohol package it is included. It costs $5 each time you order with one exception. The morning continental breakfast card you fill out and hang on your door at night is included at no charge.
  19. Where can I get the cans using my 5 free drinks as a D+? Do they have bottles of sparkling water?

  21. I do not tip. It's gotten out of hand. On Princess excursions these are employees of a big tour company with benefits. On private excursions I do tend to tip. It looks to me like fewer people tip when I watch people get off the bus and hand a tip to the tour guide. My estimate is 50/50 tip to no tip.
  22. It's the same menu as the main dining room and at dinner one extra dish is offered, usually a cheap fish or shrimp dish. The service is better then the dining room and there's no waiting. There are two tops and a few 4 tops but there are no sharing tables. Is the daily extra fare for this worth it? Maybe? I have used reserve class for the past several years. After last months sailing I will give it up. For what the fare has gone up to I'd rather eat in the specialty restaurant every dinner. Reserve lunch is only open on sea days if it's port intensive you be using the buffet for lunch
