  1. I'm trying to book this for my husband's birthday. I emailed the John Heald site, but should I try emailing the maitre'd as well? What would the email be for the Triumph? Thanks much :)

I was on the Triumph for the Chef's table. I don't remember the email but I will try to look for it. I actually got signed up along time before hand. Some of the Chefs working there sounded like they thought I was a secret employee since I was signed up so early. LOL Remember at the end they give the ladies a cook book with all of Carnival recipes in it, and the guys get the bill. Go figure....

Here are some photos. This of course was from Triumph. They have it in the Library. At one point they were a little mixed up on time. So keep checking with the front to make sure the time for the chefs table is correct.

  2. Lovermonkey, I'm just trying to get you ready for a fantastic time...LOL! You'll have a ball!

Hey by the way, I'm in the Chi and I see that you're from Montgomery IL? Looks as though you'll be leaving at just the right time, based on the upcoming couple of week's weather predictions.

Yep! You got that right. It is suppose to snow on Sunday when we leave. I have heard it is suppose to snow here Tuesday but it is suppose to be a mixture of snow and rain. By the time the 19th(Cozumel time) it is suppose to be 23 degs. Sadly I heard that the forecast for Cozumel on that date is rain. Oh my....:(

  3. We signed up for the 19th of Nov. I can't wait. Thanks for all the information for all the people who contributed to this thread. It has made my life easier, to say the very least. For all the people that have kept answering everyone's questions I applaud you. I don't think I even have a question since everything seems to have been answered many times over. Thanks guys!!!:D

I will try to post pictures when I get back.:) Just to give back to this wonderful thread.

  4. Sorry you had so much troubles. I too am from the Chicago area. Been to Lincoln park and Brookfield many times.

I have been looking for reviews since we are going in Nov. Try to see what others have done, and if they have done something they don't like, I try to avoid it.

Anyway, thanks again for the review. It really helps.

If you have any photos, please post them.

  5. Your welcome, you will enjoy Faster to the fun!

I have never been on a cruise with a concert, but that would be a blast!

I would imagine that they would have it in the Blue Sapphire Lounge because it's the largest area with seating on the ship, but wouldn't rule out that they may have more than one show on different days in multiple locations. Maybe someone else that has attended a concert at sea could chime in on that.

Below are some photos of the Blue Sapphire:

    Thank you!

We have the VIP so they said we get to be in one of the first three rows. This must be it. Well, I hope. Thanks again.

  6. Thank you for answering my questions. We signed up for the Faster to the Fun, so I was certainly interested in the Capt lounge.:) Wasn't too sure what the difference is, but other say it is well worth it.

We are also going when they have the live band.(LadyA concert) So if you have any pictures of the conert hall, please post.:) Trying to get an idea of what it looks like so I know the best way and fastest to get it line.

    Thanks again for your review!

  7. The meet and greet will probably be about 45 minutes before the show. You will walk through, say hello, have a picture taken by either CCL or Lady A staff, and move on. Lady A doesn't do autographs at M&Gs, and they don't allow you to use your own camera. (BTW we have had 3 M&Gs with Lady A since January so this is current info.)

Your tickets will tell you what time to meet and where.

A couple of more things you need to know, anywhere in the first three rows is great, in fact the third may be better than the first so you are not looking up so much. If you like Hillary she spend most of her time in the middle or on the left as you face the stage. Dave is on the right and Charles is on the left.

thank you. I thought they would allow us to use our own camera. And I thought Carnival's site said autographs too, but I guess that isn't true. Oh well. Thanks a lot!

  8. I am thinking of a few ideas. One idea you could do is not tell her until you actually get there. You tell her that you two are taking her to some place that she might like to go (around the port) and leave little clues as you go to where you are actually going. I would also get with her parents and have them put all her stuff passport etc, suite etc into a care package or gift package and have them tell her to give this too you as a present. Just make up an event. Try to not open it until you get to the port or close by. When you open it with her close by, you could say why did my "brother or sister" give me these things for a present? When she notices that it is her things, that is when you spring it on her.;)

  9. We got VIP for LadyA in Nov. Does anyone know when they start bring in the VIPs to allow them to take get autographs and pics? they say the concert is at 930 but do they ask the VIPs to come in early for autographs etc?
