I'm trying to book this for my husband's birthday. I emailed the John Heald site, but should I try emailing the maitre'd as well? What would the email be for the Triumph? Thanks much :)
I was on the Triumph for the Chef's table. I don't remember the email but I will try to look for it. I actually got signed up along time before hand. Some of the Chefs working there sounded like they thought I was a secret employee since I was signed up so early. LOL Remember at the end they give the ladies a cook book with all of Carnival recipes in it, and the guys get the bill. Go figure....
Here are some photos. This of course was from Triumph. They have it in the Library. At one point they were a little mixed up on time. So keep checking with the front to make sure the time for the chefs table is correct.

There is another thread on nachi coccum. Spelled wrong but there is a lot of people there that could answer this question.

Lovermonkey, I'm just trying to get you ready for a fantastic time...LOL! You'll have a ball!
Hey by the way, I'm in the Chi and I see that you're from Montgomery IL? Looks as though you'll be leaving at just the right time, based on the upcoming couple of week's weather predictions.
Yep! You got that right. It is suppose to snow on Sunday when we leave. I have heard it is suppose to snow here Tuesday but it is suppose to be a mixture of snow and rain. By the time the 19th(Cozumel time) it is suppose to be 23 degs. Sadly I heard that the forecast for Cozumel on that date is rain. Oh my....:(

We signed up for the 19th of Nov. I can't wait. Thanks for all the information for all the people who contributed to this thread. It has made my life easier, to say the very least. For all the people that have kept answering everyone's questions I applaud you. I don't think I even have a question since everything seems to have been answered many times over. Thanks guys!!!:D
I will try to post pictures when I get back.:) Just to give back to this wonderful thread.

Khannnnnnnnnoli! Was trying to do the whole Khan thing. I know, I wouldn't quit my day job.:)

You can also buy more from Carnival and have the coke sent to your room before you arrive. I have done that before.

I like Mike and Tracy's.

Thanks for the report!
Thank you Kirk.
Good news. The girlfriend and I are going on another cruise. Going on the Ecstasy in Nov. Will have to do another review when I get back.
-
Sorry you had so much troubles. I too am from the Chicago area. Been to Lincoln park and Brookfield many times.
I have been looking for reviews since we are going in Nov. Try to see what others have done, and if they have done something they don't like, I try to avoid it.
Anyway, thanks again for the review. It really helps.
If you have any photos, please post them.

Thank you!
We normally bring a battery powered alarm clock. Or we would be doing the same thing on the last day.
I will have to post when I get back our trip in Nov. I am hoping they allow us to take photos too. It would be nice.

I would love to see Lady A. Isn't Hillary Scott going to have a baby soon (or already happened)?.
Last summer.
The funny thing is we got tickets to see them in Aurora, Il here soon. So we get to see them twice.
-
We actually got the last two vip tickets for LadyA in Nov. We can't wait. I thought their autograph was included but I have heard that we won't happen. But the picture would be nice. I guess we will find out in Nov.
-
Going to be there in Nov for the LadyA show please continue.
Did you have the VIP? If so can you tell us about it? Picture etc. Did they allow autographs etc...
Thanks!:)

Awesome Review! I was there last year so this was a treat. Thanks again.

Your welcome, you will enjoy Faster to the fun!
I have never been on a cruise with a concert, but that would be a blast!
I would imagine that they would have it in the Blue Sapphire Lounge because it's the largest area with seating on the ship, but wouldn't rule out that they may have more than one show on different days in multiple locations. Maybe someone else that has attended a concert at sea could chime in on that.
Below are some photos of the Blue Sapphire:
control center for the shows
Thank you!
We have the VIP so they said we get to be in one of the first three rows. This must be it. Well, I hope. Thanks again.

Thank you for answering my questions. We signed up for the Faster to the Fun, so I was certainly interested in the Capt lounge.:) Wasn't too sure what the difference is, but other say it is well worth it.
We are also going when they have the live band.(LadyA concert) So if you have any pictures of the conert hall, please post.:) Trying to get an idea of what it looks like so I know the best way and fastest to get it line.
Thanks again for your review!

Awesome Review!
We are going in Nov. This review helps a lot.
Couple of questions, if you don't mind. Did you do anything in Miami before the trip..If so what? And 2nd question, you talked about the captains lounge. Is that for the Faster to the fun/

The meet and greet will probably be about 45 minutes before the show. You will walk through, say hello, have a picture taken by either CCL or Lady A staff, and move on. Lady A doesn't do autographs at M&Gs, and they don't allow you to use your own camera. (BTW we have had 3 M&Gs with Lady A since January so this is current info.)
Your tickets will tell you what time to meet and where.
A couple of more things you need to know, anywhere in the first three rows is great, in fact the third may be better than the first so you are not looking up so much. If you like Hillary she spend most of her time in the middle or on the left as you face the stage. Dave is on the right and Charles is on the left.
thank you. I thought they would allow us to use our own camera. And I thought Carnival's site said autographs too, but I guess that isn't true. Oh well. Thanks a lot!

I am thinking of a few ideas. One idea you could do is not tell her until you actually get there. You tell her that you two are taking her to some place that she might like to go (around the port) and leave little clues as you go to where you are actually going. I would also get with her parents and have them put all her stuff passport etc, suite etc into a care package or gift package and have them tell her to give this too you as a present. Just make up an event. Try to not open it until you get to the port or close by. When you open it with her close by, you could say why did my "brother or sister" give me these things for a present? When she notices that it is her things, that is when you spring it on her.;)

We got VIP for LadyA in Nov. Does anyone know when they start bring in the VIPs to allow them to take get autographs and pics? they say the concert is at 930 but do they ask the VIPs to come in early for autographs etc?
-
We are going on the LadyA concert in Nov. Did you stay close to the doc and if so where did you stay? If you stayed by the doc what places did you visit before getting on the cruise?
We are coming in a day before, so just trying to get some ideas on what to do.

Thank you for posting. We are going in Nov. Love the photos, thank you again.
