I asked on our last cruise and they brought a plate of them every night! I had to tell them I couldn’t eat that many!

I believe we got 4 bottles of water when we were Emerald. We didn’t request anything But these were in our room. At some point (first or second day?) we got a plate of cookies. Later in the cruise (12 night cruise) we got a plate of small desserts. We did turn Diamond during the cruise but as far as I have read benefits for that don’t come till the next cruise.

Thank you RCCL Fan for the link to your review. It was very helpful and informative. We realize that the size of the ship is a very subjective thing and we can take people's recommendations but have to decide what we can and can't live with ourselves. That being said, we are very close to deciding on the Vision TA and hoping the great crew remains for the crossing!

This is an interesting topic for me. We are considering a transatlantic next spring and are trying to decide between Anthem (Cape Liberty to Southampton) and Vision (San Juan to Barcelona). Leaning towards the southern route but are afraid Vision will be too small for that many sea days. We have not been on that class before. We’ve been on Anthem and most other classes except for Oasis class.

Last year my DH and I cruised out of San Juan in March. We were scheduled to fly down Friday for a Saturday departure but early in the week we saw a storm coming so ended up starting our vacation a day earlier, on Thursday. We were told about 100 people missed the ship because of flight delays/cancellations.

As far as lines for disembarkation, our time was supposed to be 8am. We passed by where you get off at 7:50 and a crew member asked what # we were and after we told him he said we could get off even though it hadn’t been called. There were only a few people in front of us. We got our luggage, went through customs, walked to the garage and were driving out of the garage about 8:30.
As far as specialty restaurants, we didn’t eat in any this time. There were no sales for first day lunch. Our head waiter told us a few times that he could get us 25% off at one of them and somewhere else we were told we could get 30 or 35% off (can’t remember where).
We were on a 12 night so there were a few headliners. A juggler, magician and some singers.

Not one on Anthem but we use the hooks mentioned earlier and a portable line to attach to them.

We were supposed to leave CT Friday morning at 6 for our San Juan cruise which leaves Saturday. My husband had been watching the weather and I was checking Thursday’s airline schedules. I called Jet Blue Monday and they already knew about possible bad weather and waived the change fee. Oddly (nicely!) enough, the same flight Thursday cost LESS than what we paid so we get an extra day’s vacation for the cost of hotel and meals. And no worrying for days.

I'm like you. Just purchased the Voom package and was led to believe it was a fast internet capable of streaming.

I used a patch years ago but was so tired on my first day that I just wanted to curl up and sleep. Now I just take Meclizine if I start to feel a little funky and it works great. I think everyone's body reacts differently to different remedies. Find what works for you.

We just came back from an AMADolce Danube cruise. We rafted with another line's ship at one point and had to walk up and over the sun decks and then down to the dock but a couple of other times with other AMA ships we just walked through the lobbies. Our ship had the canes with the seats that you could borrow and also walking poles. We had a hot tub and another AMA ship we saw had a small pool on top deck. I do not have mobility issues it still noted that Europe isn't as handicapped accessible as we are in the US.

We are on AMADolce now. We left Nuremburg on the 20th and are docked in Regensberg for the day. No water level issues. Chilly, cloudy weather so far with a little rain. Wonderful ship and crew. We are enjoying it immensely!

We were on the Feb. 20th sailing and sat at a larger table one night. We usually said we'd be willing to share a table but maybe they weren't always available. You should know that most of the smaller tables in the 4 main restaurants are pretty close together so we did get to speak with a lot of different people. We just kind of assessed the situation and whether people wanted to speak or keep to themselves. We met lovely people from England, Saskatchewan, and many other places.

JAcket is fine. Some men wore a suit or jacket with open shirt, no tie.

You hold it up to the box on the door; so convenient not to be rummaging for the card. Everywhere else they have tablets and you hold them on there to charge drinks, purchases etc. We loved them! As said before, you need your sea pass card to get off the ship. They also wanted to see your card to get into the Crown & Anchor Welcome Back party.

Thanks for all the responses. It pays to be prepared!

I'm having a really hard time packing for our cruise on Quantum this Friday. Can anyone tell me how warm or cool the venues are on the ship? I know it's climate controlled but do I need jackets, sweaters for dinner and shows? I'm freezing right now so can't even imagine getting into shorts or bathing suits!

Thanks! Want to allow enough time to get there from CT, factoring in traffic, accidents, etc, so will probably arrive early and if we have to wait, we have to wait!

Has anyone arrived earlier than their assigned boarding time and gotten on the ship earlier? Just checked in for Feb 20 and got a 12:45 boarding time. We usually like to board about 11.
No more luggage delivered to cabins on Royal?

On the last couple of cruises we have found our luggage outside other cabins. Maybe, as some posters stated, they are placed in the corridors and then dispersed in time. We may have just been going down the corridor before that happened.
