  1. Thanks, y’all! At home, I regularly get deep tissue massages (I hear you, kirkc) and have had good results with acupuncture for my psoriatic arthritis (crystalspin.) Away, I usually like something novel, so it sounds like hot stones, facials, and seaweed wrap are worth considering.
  2. Headed to Alaska in May on Eurodam. Hubs and I like to do a spa treatment or massage on the first day or so when we travel to disconnect from the real world. For those of you that frequent the spa, what are your favorite treatments or massages? Is the bamboo massage worthwhile?
  3. Thank you both! If we did use Seattle express, what time would we say for pick up? 8a?
  4. Forgive me for asking, but I can’t seem to find HAL specific info on this. I know the guideline for flights home on debarkation day is usually 12p or later. On our debarkation day from the Eurodam at Seattle, there’s an 1150am flight or we can’t get out on anything but a red eye, which would be a huge hassle. While we’ll do the port luggage thing for our checked bags, we have CPAPs and carry ons that will need to be lugged around until we leave. We have Pre-check and I did book the port to airport shuttle with HAL. Is it possible to debark and get to sea-tac in time for an 11:50 flight or are we stuck until late at night? I tried asking our HAL associate, but he hasn’t answered. Thank you for your patience with this newbie.
  5. Thank you all for the advice! I booked yesterday with a HAL PCC and am so excited for my May cruise!!!
  6. Thank you all for the helpful responses. Do you generally find it’s better to book with the line or find an independent TA?
  7. Howdy! I’ve been on exactly one cruise in my life, RC back in 2011. My hubs and I are eyeing an Alaskan cruise in May and have decided HAL is the way to go. The question I have is “Do I book now or wait a few weeks for Wave Season?” I’ve read some lines have been offering wave comparable packages this holiday season, but am not sure if HAL’s current deals are good ones. Apologies in advance for a very newbie question. Side Quest Question: Hubs likes a drink. I’m not a drinker but like my coffees, smoothies, etc. Pros and Cons on Have It All value? Thanks in advance, Y’all.
