  1. The WHO doesn’t think individuals should decide on mixing but the governments if needed can. But I agree, I wish the border issue would change. Is WHO suggesting health agencies shouldn't recommend mixing doses? No. In fact, the opposite is true. "At our Global press conference on COVID 19, Dr. Soumya Swaminathan explained that individuals should not decide for themselves, public health agencies can, based on available data," WHO said in a statement to CBC News on Tuesday. Swaminathan also sent out a tweet to clarify her position when the misleading story was shared on Twitter.
  2. Yes, as I said above I have already received mine. I don’t think getting a third shot when you’re eligible is wrong. I just think it’s not always as straight forward as some might think.
  3. Ignoring the fact that it’s the wrong Ford… I think it’s less about politics right now and more about who actually needs it. Who is losing immunity. Are you still healthy without a booster? Is there science to back that up? There’s also the humanitarian issue. Should healthy people be getting a third dose of a medication that they don’t really need so they can travel when there’s millions in the world who can’t get even 1? I think there’s a lot of different sides and we tend to only see the side we’re on.
  4. I am happy for you that you were able to receive a 3rd dose. However, as someone who is immune suppressed and had to wait for eligibility (My medications were added last month thankfully) I find it concerning that they are giving 3rd doses to people who wish to travel before people with other risky diseases like asthma or diabetes etc. Just my two cents. Stay safe and happy vacation.
  5. A mock booking of my January cruise works out to $224 more and doesn’t include the perks lol. I guess I’ll pass on this ‘sale‘
  6. Silly question but how strong of a coffee flavour does the mint chocolate martini have? Thx!
  7. I followed Don for a while but once COVID hit the rants got ridiculous. He must attract more viewers somehow with them because that seems to be all there is. I unfollowed shortly after.
  8. I would guess taking a picture of everyone on the bus would help as well.
  9. Sorry, I misread your original post. I have to agree that there would be a good chance that you would have to fight to get your money back after the excursion left.
  10. Yes that is what I would do. I still have a while before I have to deal with it but you people who are going this month are the ones who may need to get it straightened out unfortunately. Please let us know how it goes. Hopefully you get lucky and your excursion isn’t fully booked 🤞
  11. Thank you! That sounds like an excellent idea. Have lots of fun !
  12. Yes I’m very careful. This cruise will be a big step for me. We are grateful that there is the last minute cancel option so that if things get too out of hand we can move it to another time. But I’d love to get away and this seems to be the safest bet. ❤️
  13. Yes I just spoke with my SIL who I’m going with and that’s what we decided as well. I just don’t want the stress of worrying about it. Thanks so much for sharing your experience!
  14. Yes, you’re right! While those excursions aren’t an option for me I’ll take the alternative and hang out on the pool deck with my drink package 😉. Thanks for the info!
  15. And hopefully one of those that are hanging out in the martini bar are not sitting close to you… You’ve convinced me to hold off on booking excursions until I’m on the ship and perhaps can get more information. While I am immune suppressed and will have my third shot by then, I feel that if I’m going to take the extra precautions of wearing my mask whenever I can and being really careful I don’t want to blow it all on a bus trip. Especially if no one else seems concerned at all.
